Selected User Reviews For Ronin Brand Martial Arts Uniform Solid Colored Rank Belt – Yellow, Green, Orange, Blue, Purple, Red, Brown, Black in Quality
I began training in Manhattan karate under Great Shidoshi Nathan Ingram back in July, but now that COVID has arrived, I have been teaching a style of karate called Karatesystem. As 19 approached, I was unable to receive my belt in person from my Grand Master so I waited to see if things improved, but they didn't, so long story short, I decided to buy one of my own to be dressed like a proper I had been browsing the Internet a lot and stumbled across the Ronin Brand, so I took a chance and am quite pleased with what I found! Great build, nice color, it's just the right length for me, and the black color is great too! 123 inches is the measurement of Size 6, which I ordered. I can tell that it will break in well over time. The fit is a little stiff but it will improve with time! Currently, I weigh 273 lbs and am 5'9" tall. A Ronin Gi is something I just bought today due to the quality of the belt and the great reviews for this brand. I've ordered the size 6 in the Gi. Once I receive it, I will write a review! I love you.
There were unfortunate issues with the size. It wasn't what we expected. As I ordered a size 4, it ended up being nearly 3 inches too short. Based on another comment about the blue they used, I It should have been more obvious to me since the blue they used looks more like the light blue used in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, rather than the typical royal blue used It may have been a deliberate attempt by Ronin to offset the blue from their blue Gis, making it look less blended, but unfortunately this makes the belt look too pale. It is well stitched with a clean logo and is well built, and does not have foam filled like some other cheap belts on the market. I have been very pleased with the rest of the ronin brand overall, so I hope my belt being off sizing was just an anomaly. Despite its shortcomings, this belt is still good and I intend to use.
The Ronin belts are smaller than usual BJJ belts. I am not sure why they do this. I can wear A2 from other brands if needed, but Ronin A2 doesn't even go around my waist. Really good quality belt, but a bit.
This one, on the other hand, was a lot thinner and narrower. While generally good craftsmanship can be found, it is not exceptional. If I were buying this for my kids' class, I would not get it for myself.
The material is very thick and of good quality. Instead of the washed-off yellow I have encountered in the past, this yellow hue is nice and warm. I recommend it!.
I will wear it for quite a while. Check it out over the summer to see if it remains intact. When I unpacked the product, I noticed there were a few frays that could quickly be cut/burned off. So far, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.
Due to my weight gain since I stopped doing jiu jitsu, I needed to find a belt that fit an A5, and this one fits perfectly. There's nothing I can complain about.
As a gift for a student, I bought the student a black belt about two weeks ago. There was no complaining about the product's quality or feel, and the price was more than fair. It also looks very nice. I recommend it!.
