The jacket was fine until I washed it for the first and only time in a hot machine. Only after that are cold washes used. Otherwise, it may contract too much. With a gi, of course.
I'm 5'5" and 145 pounds, and I ordered a size 3 based on the chart, which should have fit me perfectly, but it was way too big. It is designed for someone who is taller and larger. The standard is very high.
