I can't comment on how long it will last because I haven't seen any tears or wear on any of the gi's sides yet. The gi is light, but it has a double-threaded feel to it. It's not allowed in tournaments, but it's a great place to practice. If you're looking for a nice gi to practice in, I highly recommend this one. br>br>On the subject of durability, I can make changes later.

This isn't my first Gi, and I followed all of the instructions to the letter. Even after air drying and washing it in cold water, it went from fitting perfectly to looking like I stole my nephew's Gi. I sought assistance from the manufacturer in resolving this issue. I didn't get anything back.
The fabric is too thin to be used in a double weave, and it runs small. Double weave is not possible due to the thinness of the fabric.
It was the perfect fit. Because there is no shrinkage, machine drying is no longer a guessing game. The fabric is more comfortable than it appears in the photos. The material is extremely breathable. Although the lapel is very comfortable, it is thicker and better for throwing than some other brands.
