The pants, on the other hand, had trouble shrinking and I ended up with short sleeves and too long pants. The stitching on the knees eventually needed to be redone, but that was the only stitching or fabric strength issue after multiple uses.
I'm new to martial arts, so I'm not sure if this is normal, but the pants and jacket were not the same shade of blue. Apart from the obvious aesthetic flaw, the gi fits well and appears to be of good quality. Later tonight, I'll give it a try.
I purchased this gi in the hopes of finding a low-cost grappling gi that I could use. I didn't see the point in spending a lot of money on designer gi's. The sizing on these gi's is a little off (my pants were too big and the top was too long), but it's not a deal breaker. This gi is a fantastic value and performs admirably.
We decided to practice judo after my son suggested it. I didn't want to spend too much money on a judogi if he didn't like it. It's a good uniform for the price; my only complaint is that the fit was smaller than other brands, and the color faded after the first wash. Overall, it's a good gi for beginners.
It's well worth it, even if the color fades a little. Overall, it is quite comfortable and serves its purpose well. If you're a beginner and prefer a blue gi, this is a good choice. It's made of good sturdy heavy quality cotton, so you won't have to worry about it ripping. Judo and jiu-jitsu are both good for this.
Jitsu uniform from martial arts one, and due to my hectic schedule, I was unable to try on the uniform immediately after receiving it, nor was I able to request a return. In any case, when I placed the order, I specified a XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XX They sent me a very small uniform, about the size of a seven-year-old. When I finally tried on the uniform, it simply did not fit. To add insult to injury, when I finally got around to requesting an exchange for a larger size, they told me no because my request was made after the 30-day period had passed. As a result, I'm stuck with a uniform that I'm never going to wear! When I first opened the package, the only thing I did was take out the jacket to try it on, and when it didn't fit, I promptly returned it to the package for a refund. Because I believe they do not provide good customer service and that I have been cheated out of my money! I only have one star to give this seller! What you should think about the next time you're looking for a Jiu-Jitsu instructor. Jitsu uniform is a store that will provide you with excellent customer service, which I do not believe I receive from this company. I strongly advise you to think twice before giving them your money. The item has shrunk to the point where I can no longer wear it. Although the fabric appears to be in good condition, it continues to shrink. Purchase it in the largest size possible.
