Zippers are designed to be very durable. So far, my son has not had any problems with it. It was decided that the bag was too heavy to carry and the shoulder strap began to separate from the bag. The needle of a sewing machine can be used with a heavy-duty, waterproof needle to reinforce that.
Approximately 50 inches long and 8 inches wide, the bag measures a bit over 50 inches long.
50" is the size of the bag. The amount you are carrying will determine what your luggage size will be. I don't think it would work as well when you have several weapons. On the other hand, if you only have one weapon, the bag is only about 5 inches wide, so you may be able to angle it slightly. The bag is a nice quality for the price. I can fit my Iaito and bokken inside without too much problem, but if I put three things in there, it gets tight.
As a test, I put two iaito and one shinken into the bag before answering Three swords are stored within the zippered compartments inside the interior, and one more is kept in the Yes, 3 will fit, but you will need to adjust the placement of the swords so that the tsuba are not all at the same level. A bag of that size and with a zipper will be stressed. As long as the bag is long enough, that is not a problem. As far as bags for the price go, I think this one is pretty good.

In the past, I have purchased two 40" and one 50" carrying bag for my equipment, but this is the last. I had problems using the other two bags, so I looked at this 50" bag instead. My expectations were exceeded and I am pleased with it. I love it its quality is superb, its length is perfect, and it is very durable. Here is what I am going to add. As a result, the 50" bo staff will only fit inside the bag when angled. This means other items will have to be arranged in the bag so they can as well. In fact, I think from now on I will take a closer look at other Munetoshi products as a result of this experience. The material stretched enough for my bag to fit upright after a few days, so, other than that minor problem, the bag is just perfect.
It is a delightful surprise to find out how well made this bag is. Using it to carry my swords to and from the dojo has been a great experience. I can store two of my Iaido swords in this bag and still have room to store Aside from the main pouch, the side pouch has plenty of space for smaller accessories. As a good way to transport your swords, I would recommend this bag.
It's awesome that it's a bag. There is plenty of space in here for all kinds of things. Two katanas, two sais, and many other items can be stored easily in this bag. This is a very sturdy product. The cons are The shoulder strap is too low on the shoulder. PLEASE DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $25 for this package! Those who sell it for more than that are taking advantage of the public. It was unnecessary for me to go elsewhere since I purchased several on Amazon for $25, then the person raised the price to $129 without my permission. Are you serious? Another site offered it for a lower price. The cost is about 500% lower. There is only one difference it does not have the emblem. Other than that, the bag remains the same.
It has two compartments in the bag, one inside the other, for your swords, as well as a zippered pouch in the center. While the longest dao on my collection is only 43 inches long, the bag material is plump and somewhat rigid, so the 7 inches of empty space at the top appears to be filled with something. I was wearing a new sword bag when my Shifu noticed it, and he liked it enough to ask me about it. When another student in his class saw the bag, he asked where I had purchased it so he could also get I like it, but I think the only problem is it doesn't have any attachments to hold my staff on the outside of the bag and it's too short to be zippered shut with my staff inside it.
It fits the daisho you have, however you should wrap padding around any swords that are not for use in practicing or training. Please note, it has compartments but no additional padding, so you should wrap padding around swords when not in practice or training. There is also a lack of heavy duty and standard material in the bag, so some care is needed.
As the bag's shoulder strap is so low, I have a problem walking through the doorway to my dojo when I carry it. When I wear it, the top of the bag sticks out about two feet above my head. A higher shoulder strap on the bag would induce the bag to hang lower on the shoulder, thus allowing the bag to be more comfortable to carry. It's not just the shoulder strap that's awesome about this bag, it's everything else.
You won't regret buying this bag! My home isn't as dramatic as the picture implies. I have my Iaito, a bokken, a Jo, and a baboo shenai, plus a rubber gun and a rubber knife. In this bag are all the things I need. This zipper is durable, and the little pocket on the front is perfect for storing sword care items. Putting the bag on the ground will protect the bottom of the bag with a thick surface of black suede type material. I am very pleased with this purchase overall.
