I can fit all my Krav Maga gear in this bag. The bag easily fits everything I need (16 oz. Shoes, gloves, headgear, and skin guards), with plenty of room for extra clothing. As for my size 11 sneakers, the shoe pockets don't fit, but one of the side pockets does. I use the shoe pockets for keychains, water bottles, and so on. You can use them with any Nalgene up to full size. At first, the bag did have that chemical/vinyl smell, but it has since mostly ceased. I don't think the fabric is going to rip any time soon due to its solid construction. This bag is very good for the price that you pay.

Due to the fact that I live out of my gym bag, I need something that I can use not just to hold all my martial arts stuff, but also to hold all my girly things. On the outside is a vented pocket ideal for shin guards, and on the inside is a smaller, zippered pocket perfect for mouthpieces. They aren't quite as big as a shoe pocket, but they work well for holding It would be perfect if it had a couple of interior pockets and a zipper that went both ways, rather than one way.
