This skate was recommended for her by her coach because of her weight and not because of her skill I am happy that my daughter can do her doubles as well as her combo spin with this skate, even though it suggests for basic skill levels.

There is a lot of quality in these shoes. In addition to putting on a special insole for my feet, the insole fit very nicely and my skating was comfortable. This is a book I recommend.

My daughter has been skating with the same skates for the past year, and I am not going to lie, we did not purchase them on Amazon. We bought them at the hockey rink she is taking lessons at. Despite her young age and her current basic level, she is now in 5th grade. The skates are nicely made and have a thick top padding. They are also quite stiff and very well made. It's time to say goodbye to flimsy leather purses like the ones I had in the 1980s! It's been years since she complained of pain she's never complained before They were still new when they were purchased. Her feet are very wide, which concerned me at first, but we just bought skates that were a bit too long and she has been fine ever since. Her feet have gotten longer, but not wider so we got through one pair of skates without replacing them. My daughter did get a pair of Jackson Mystique's in the next size up for her, but they are not as stiff or padded as these ones. It looks like there are no reviews for this product, and I thought I'd leave one anyway I hope it helps somebody!.

The 8 year old at the time found it comfortable from day 1

The 8 year old I was buying these for was about to begin her axel, so I did not buy them here. The boots were molded to her feet and she had a different blade fashioned for her. As soon as she wore the boot, she found it to be extremely comfortable. From day one she has felt comfortable and supported, and she has progressed to nailing her axel over the past year. The only thing we need now is to be fitted for a different size. I highly recommend them!.
