It is easy to adjust, and the material is sturdy. We were not able to finish one of the sets due to poor assembly An item in the bar is crookedly positioned, as both bases for one of the bars are not aligned. By this, I mean that the bar tips when In this case, you can fix it by unscrewing the bar from the bases, drilling a new hole in the bar (ensuring they line up flush, unlike what was done at the factory), and reattaching the bases to allow the bar to move freely. Having to do that should not be necessary. I would like to think that, but that's just me.
