When my daughter was a competitive gymnast, my daughter used to use high quality home gymnastics mats at home, but this mat is a little bit narrower. Other than its narrowness, it has the same thickness and level of cushioning as traditional gymnastics mats.

There has never been an issue with slipping on our concrete floors. I like this mat a lot!
While it is well padded, it may not be wide enough to be used under an indoor slide. And it would require a carpet liner so that it would not move around.

We are very pleased with our mat purchase, and we love it. The construction of this product is of high quality and the materials do not emit any foul odors whatsoever. mat is the right thickness for daily stretching, and is used for that purpose. Unfortunately, the mat had a manufacturing defect. ProSource responded back to me immediately when I contacted them directly. Within five days, I received a replacement mat following the submission of two photos and proof of purchase. A great deal of pride is taken in the products and services of ProSource. In terms of quality and performance, I am still very happy with the mat and use it daily for.
When I do planks on the floor, I would like a thick mat. Neither my home nor my office has carpeting. There were so many thin and short yoga mats available to me but they didn't seem long enough for me. It had to be long and thick for me as I am 6'3". I can't believe how hard it is. The package arrived today and I am so happy to have something to keep the floor soft and absorb the shock of being on it all day long. I was extremely disappointed to discover that this mat is literally as hard as a rock. It would have been more comfortable to stretch on the floor without it, which defeats the whole purpose of buying it. While it might not be a heavy duty practice mat you can use all day for wrestling, it seems like it will be fine if you plan on doing some basic floor exercises and stretching. As a result of my hardwood floors and worn knees and elbows, doing planks, sit ups, push ups, squats, and yoga can be quite difficult for me A lot more enjoyable to do these kinds of stretches. In my opinion, this is the perfect combination of value and price. These things are unnecessarily expensive, and the cheaper ones don't last very long. A matte like this is worth the extra dollar or two you spend over thin, poorly manufactured mattes that cost less than half as much. The matte is thick, comfortable and can be used on cement floors. It can withstand knees, shoes, elbows, and can be used with knees, shoes, and elbows. The brand we purchased is perfect for us. We will buy it again in the future.
