Does the strap have two parts?

You are right. Each strap has two loops. Also, the straps are good. There are 2 other sets of rings and straps on Amazon that I bought and the Mueuss straps are significantly wider and thicker than those I bought there and have a steel ring attached that will last for years. My favorite thing about these rings is that they allow me to work out. It feels so good to hold on. The only thing you'll need is your own body weight for this set up. The only thing you need to get fit is a set of rings, good food, and good sleep. I am going to get rid of my Oly weights immediately. If you start out easy, you'll be able to see how much fun it really can be. Although they might make your arms feel better, the truth is that they won't do anything for your legs do some burpies or ride a bike instead.

You can get wood rings from the stores

It's great to find ring made of wood at this price. The rings are bare wood (which is how they should be) but are very comfortable and smooth. They are easy to adjust and have a length of over 15 feet from buckle to buckle. I found the straps to be wider and the buckles to be bigger and more durable than others I own. It was difficult to choose between so many rings, but after checking out a lot of them I chose.

It would be nice if you could make dips with these

I can definitely rely on them to continue doing the job, they are sturdy, strong, and support my weight well. With a door mounted pull up bar, I use them. It is not everyone's strength to do these types of dips, but if you can, you can easily do regular dips and pushups as well. I think it's a challenge, but a worthwhile one, so yeah, those are good tools that you'll need when you're ready to take on the.
