I'm not sure, but I believe the heaviest person on the planet weighs less than 800 pounds. So unless you're that guy who does dips with 500 pounds strapped to his back, you're good to go.
They're made of a plastic that's similar to resin. They appear to have a long life span. I'm only about 150 pounds, so I'm not exactly a big guy. However, I believe I am capable of much more.
The studs in the attic were used along with large eye bolts. Drilling a small hole through the stud from the attic will allow you to find the proper placement from the room you're hanging them in.
It has two straps, not one. My daughter's has been using hers for a long time.

These people get five stars for customer service, and they really mean it when they say "warrantied for life. " A problem occurred, most likely as a result of a mis-typed command. Threading is a term used to describe the process of weaving They sent a replacement, but it was misplaced in the mail. I sent another message. Both arrived within a day of each other (the original must have gotten stuck in the back of someone's truck). I offered to return one of them; "Keep it!" they exclaimed. We're simply relieved that you received it. " Keep threading and testing in mind. By the way, this is a fantastic product. It is sturdy and well-made, but it must be assembled correctly, as with any gym equipment. I intend to do business with these people again.
I bought these in September of 2014 for around 45 dollars, and they're still going strong after 4 years. They're all heavy duty and sturdy, and will last you years. I'd say you can't go wrong with these rings at that price, but after owning a few different rings, I'd recommend going with wood rings if you plan to do more advanced stuff like ass muscle ups, as the textured plastic of these will rub you raw much faster than wood rings if you use a proper false grip.
One of the metal clamps snapped after only a few weeks. Although it is a little more difficult to use, the product still works. I sent an email to the company and received a prompt response from Rich. He immediately sent me a USPS tracking number for the new strap after I sent him photos of the broken piece. Although I have not yet received it, I am confident that it is on its way. Since then, I've managed to break the other clamp. This time, however, I was present when it occurred. I had allowed the clamp to move down toward the ring, and while doing tricep dips with the ring, the ring applied direct force to the clamp, snapping it. It snapped because I used it incorrectly, which I now realize. Just make sure the clamp portion of the ring isn't too close to the ring when you apply weight to it, and it shouldn't break. I ordered a second pair because, as I previously stated, the clamps were broken due to my error (I had no idea what caused it to break the first time). I believe they perform admirably and are reasonably priced, with excellent customer service.
The rings, like the straps, are extremely strong and durable. The cam buckles keep the straps in place very well, and I can only assume that those who have had issues are threading the straps incorrectly. I've had no problems with slipping at all. When I'm doing rows, dips, hangs, or suspended push-ups, I don't have to worry about the straps failing to hold me. I'm in my early twenties and weigh around 190 pounds. br>br>The only (very minor) criticism I have is that I wish the straps (like the EXF Rings) had marked height indicators. It would speed up and improve the accuracy of adjustments, but it isn't a deal-breaker. br>br>Apart from that, I have no complaints about this product, but I did improve it for myself by purchasing two carabiners for the sole purpose of clipping the straps to a fence for more challenging suspended exercises. Also, hanging them from a park bar without having to re-hang them is easier and faster. Each time, feed the straps through the cam buckles. br>br>To summarize, Black Mountain Products is a fantastic company, and these exercise rings are ideal for my needs!.
I am completely happy. I bought these a few months ago and I'm very pleased with them. It's a lot less expensive than joining a gym and a lot more enjoyable than simply lifting weights. I should say that I'm new to gym rings, so my opinion isn't expert, but they're comfortable, have a good grip, and the weight feels just right. There is a light seam from the manufacturing process that can only be seen if you look for it, and I doubt anyone would notice it while wearing them. br>br>I installed clips on a support column in my basement for them to hang from, and that's where I usually use them. I'll toss them over a strong tree branch outside if I feel like getting some sun. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.
A good basic set of weatherproof rings. I thought the more expensive sets with marks on straps would be better at first, but they wouldn't have helped in my application hanging from an uneven tree limb. However, if you're hanging from ceiling mounts or a bar, the markings will make it easier to make adjustments.
I bought these five months ago to do core exercises outside; I am not a gymnast, but I do rock climb. The rings are made of plastic, but you won't need chalk to get a good grip on them. Plastic rings are not as soft as wooden rings. I'm used to rough surfaces and don't mind them, but my girlfriend finds them to be excessively rough. I hung them from a tree. br>br> I only moved them for 2 minutes and haven't moved them since. They're perched on a 5m-high branch of a tree. There's still a lot of cord left, and I'm not sure what to do with it. They appeal to me. br>br> There may be a better package available, but these will suffice.
The straps are simple to use and are long enough to be used in a variety of settings and workout routines. If you plan on traveling with them, the bag and velcro straps that come with them are also very useful. I'm about 250 pounds, and I'm perfectly at ease swinging upside down on these.
