Are you experiencing a soft or a rough feeling when you touch this fabric?

It doesn't feel soft because it's a thin canvas I thought it would feel like a parachute material but it doesn't. Kids enjoy it a lot and have a great time with it. find that it has a firmer material, so I am sure that it will sustain the amount of use it receives.

Are you able to sit under it for quite a while if it holds the air in?

While I'm not sure what it means by awhile, if you have enough holders, the umbrella will stay up long enough for children to sit underneath it.

Having this toy in the house is a delight! It is important to us to get one toy in every category, which needs no batteries, does not make a noise, or make any kind of electronic noise. This one has been a huge We have only used it for a short time, so I can't comment on its durability, but it has more than paid for itself in the short time that we have used it.

There are less expensive ones (such as ones you would see at story time or preschool) but this one is decent for the price. We haven't used too much of it yet but the kids love I wish I had gotten a larger.

I think this is the best parachuting value for the money, works well, and is In places it is stiff, its durability is almost too high. Since it was so stiff, after I got it I needed to wear it out as much as possible before I could use it with my kids.
