The all-new Samurai Sabre features a new handle and blade design that resembles our Spanish-style Excalibur Sabre in appearance, feel, and spin.

Both the handle and the blade are nearly indestructible and will not break.

Excellent for both experienced guard members and beginners as a durable starter sabre.

The blades come in a variety of lengths and colors, and the tips are padded.

White is the only color available for the handles.

Is there a metal or a plastic handle on the handle?

Plastic is used to make the handle. The blade is metal, but there is a white wrap around it in this case.

Isn't it true that the hilt and handle are both made of metal?

The hilt is a breakable plastic "sleeve" that can be replaced. It is screwed into place after sliding over the metal bar in the sabre. This sabre comes highly recommended by me; I've had it for quite some time and find it to be both durable and well balanced.

Is this a total length of 39" or a blade length of 39"? What exactly are the hilt's dimensions?

The entire sabre measures 39" in length. The length of the hilt is 5 inches. 3" long by 1/3" wide. From the hilt to the handle, the blade is 1/3 inch wide.

Mine is one of my favorites. The handle is the only thing that matters. Plastic is used for the handle, which may cause issues. I've scraped the handle several times, and the tape on the plastic Handel has come loose. It spins like a saber that costs more.

I'm a big fan of the sabre. It's a long-lasting piece of Cologuard/winterguard gear. The strange thing was that Amazon informed me that my shipment had been delayed and would not arrive until 8 p. m. It arrived at 2:00 p. m. ! I felt content.
