Weaver Leather Bungee Trailer Tie

Despite the fact that my trailer has the hook for the trailer tie above the window, this tie is too short to fit on my trailer. As long as the tie hook is there, the tie is not long enough in the middle, and since it does not adjust, the horse cannot lower its head enough to munch hay or cough when they are forced to do so. There is also an issue with the clasp of this tie. On the clasp, there is no. . . how do I explain this. . . lip that can be pulled to unlock it It is also very difficult to open the clasp quickly to attach the halter to the dog (I have to use two hands for this). You have to struggle for a long time to open it and attach it to the horse's The only reason I am reviewing this product is because I found the same bungee tie by another brand, Tough-Tie, that is much better. There is a design on the claps (see third photo) that has a lip to make it easier to open. I am not happy with the tie that I bought, so I have to purchase a new tie that open more easily and adjusts to a longer length.

It was a major shock to me that these trailer ties broke within the first On this site, they have good reviews, and Weaver has a reputation for quality. It only took a few uses for both of them to break. I had to return the item just a couple days ago, so I was out of luck there. It's a big no no!.

It was ordered to match an existing one we have that is navy with burgundy flecks and it is an excellent match. The function is perfect and it works.
