I like the quality of the leather and how it fits! My Arab gelding always wears cob-sized tack, so I got the cob size for him. I would have given it a higher rating, but I bought it to match my Henri De Rivel bridle, too, and the martingale was a much different color, almost having a green tint to it, than I was disappointed because they are the same brand, but I thought the colors would be the same.
My first impression of this martingale, purchased three months ago, was that it was of good quality for its price. The color is nice and the leather looks good. The leather that holds the middle together has now broken just three months after it was made. This is not at all what I needed. If I were to use a martingale, I would expect it to last longer.
A bridle this nice would cost you a lot of money. I like the quality of the leather and the quality of the quality of the product. It is my personal preference to have rubber covered reins, but I changed them out.
Breeding two Canuck Warmbloods and two Cleveland Bays.
The leather splits apart right out of the package. However, the price is so low that it doesn't matter.
A perfect shade of blue!.
