I'm not sure because I don't have a weaver smart cinch buckle, but it works with every other cinch I've tried with it, from name brands to budget brands.
Nylon is the material used. Unlike leather, it is not rigid.

This is the first time I've tried synthetic latigo. The nylon didn't sit well with me, and it frayed quickly. I eventually settled on a Martin Saddlery Herman Oak Leather Latigo. The leather was a little more expensive, but it's so much smoother to pull, it looks nicer, and I'm confident it'll last. If there's ever a major accident, we'll release it. Put the extra $20 towards something else. 00 for a genuine latigo leather latigo (Martin Saddlery's is excellent). nice).
I can gently cinch each horse with the smooth nylon, and it won't slip. I like that I can now use my buckles instead of cowboy knots on my cinches. My gelding needs to be cinched several times, and the nylon latigo makes it a breeze for both him and me!.
Regardless of the girth I use, my horse develops gallstones behind one leg. Changed the fire rigging to the center. This has taken care of the gallbladder issue.
It's been a month since I've used it, and it's still going strong! I'm very pleased with it overall!.
Nylon latigos are my preferred choice because they do not stretch as much as leather and provide a more secure fit. A well-made latigo at an affordable price.
It really works. It is well-made. Excellent value for money. It was a pleasure to work with this company.
By a long shot, I prefer it to leather. Thickness is good. Sturdy.
Very nice product at a good price.
