I bought these reins as a companion to the Weaver Brahma orange bridle I bought since Weaver almost always puts out excellent products (a few are disappointing of late, but this isn't about them) so I bought this bridle too. The components match perfectly (as they should since they are from the same manufacturer) but they also look really nice. When I ride, I'm usually out for three hours at a time. It would be a waste of time if I had to wait for more than four hours An attractive and comfortable piece of rein that I could hold in my hands for long rides, and that was durable and low-profile Maintenance is necessary. This is exactly what I was looking for. It would have been nice to have a matching orange, but the black are also quite nice. It's hard not to fall in love with Two pairs of shoes have been delivered to me. The grip is great, no slipping, and the grip is very A pair of scissor clips would have been nice instead of just However, with only one of them, the weight distribution on the bit is different from side to side. Otherwise, I love them.
There are just one clip on these, but other than that, the quality is excellent and they are long enough for my 17-inch screen. He is a thoroughbred gelding measuring 2 hands.
My favorite part of these reins is the bow. It seems they will hold up even though they are a little stiff. Take hold of them with a slipper grip.
Why it only has one clip is beyond me. In both cases, it was intended to be a single rein, and if it weren't the situation would have been.
I like the material the reins are made of. They have the same flex and hand feel as well worn I think the only thing I would change is to have it with a snap on both ends of the reins so they do not slip, but that is.
They are easy to clean and don't need to be worried about getting wet or drying out.
