Even though I use the bridle on my QH with this very big head that is unsure on its size it seems likely to work and I will still recommend you don't get lost.
As far as room for size, I use it on my quarter horse and, as far as I can tell, it's suitable for larger horses.

Perhaps the truth of this story is that I have seen many good-quality headstalls over the years, but this is just not possible. After one look, I decided to try another pair of Weaver headstalls, this time in "oiled leather headstalls. " Two designs of the eared leather headstalls in different designs to see if they could be a little better. Nope. Its texture is similar to chewing dog's chew. Those of you who pay well seem to realize the good fortune of getting what they pay for. I would recommend trying to find a quality headstall that is "full-grained oiled," something similar to those listed above on some sites. Taking this piece home to keep using is an investment you can make every day. I will put your horse in good stead!!.
For the price, I found a better quality Headstall. This is a really good soft harness leather. With Weaver headstalls we use leather rather than soft material so theirs was stiff and unpleasant. Simple and convenient with minimal construction, this headstall is much better quality and easier to use than its predecessor. Plain, but great for daily use, training or even riding.

I purchased it for the head of my long-haired horse. There were a couple of other reviews indicating this ran big. I plan to use it for my paints as their cheek straps aren't particularly long. For the most part, you shouldn't use this since it isn't supposed to be too big for a horse. In terms of the quality of my leather, it is nice with good pricing, but my guy will easily lose his shirt if he does something too much with it.

It's so fantastic! I can't say I'm pleased with the bridle. There is a large number of holes available for both cob and larger horses. Smooth, soft leather with a fine color. There is a great deal of value in it.
In addition to its high quality, this leather isn't cheap. Get all of your money's worth by making sure you understand the price. My favorite piece of furniture is this headstall.
