I think it's even better than I expected! These are buttery soft in your hands, but have a slight grip, making them very sensitive; the length is ideal, but they are adjustable, with holes along one side already spaced for easy adjustments. They're the perfect length for my horse, allowing me to drape them over the horn and cue him solely with my legs when necessary.
The reins were a good value for the money, and they were the right length for dressage on my Arabian with a Dr. Cook bitless bridle made of biothane. I don't mind getting my leather wet when it rains.
This is fantastic. Simple, high-quality materials were used to create this piece. They have a great feel in the hand, firm but not abrasive, with just enough friction for gentle steady pressure. The length is easily adjustable, and I appreciate the ease with which I can unclip a rein. This is an excellent product.
They're mostly used for trail riding, but I've also jumped with them. With the reins at their longest length, my mare, a 15-hh Quarter Horse, can put her nose almost to the ground. For a good multi-tasking solution, it can also be significantly shortened. If you have a smaller horse or pony, this is the perfect rein for you.
The leather on these reins is of exceptional quality! I am overjoyed!.
It was not as long as I had anticipated.
wonderful item.
Waterproof and flexible. It appears to be in good condition, with a slender rein.
