Horses that grab the bit or lean on it will benefit from this bit

I was pleased to see that my mare didn't lean on the bit when she turned. It is clear that her mouth in this bit is a lot more relaxed than anything else.

The bit I had on my horse was very pleasing to him

The bit I had on my horse was very pleasing to him. He used to wear a snaffle which had no joints or breaks and there was a lot of head raising etc. I always felt he did better in my dressage bit which had two joints, so for jumping and trails I got the above bit. Since he is not the type of horse to take off or move too fast, he really needed something with more gentle qualities. As far as I can tell, everything is going well.
