My gloves were purchased for long road trips - they have proven to be extremely comfortable The gloves are comfortable and do a great job of There is a light padding on the palms My guess is that they are not Gel-based In the title and the photograph, it is stated that the pads are padded (mine do not have a label or tag that says "Gel"). Although they've only been used for 10 hours so far, they should allow me to use them for several weeks. In other words, road trips that are occasionally long. Due to a misreading of the product description, I was somewhat disappointed that these were not made in the USA A deerskin bag made from the finest American deer. There is a clearly visible "Made in China" tag on the product. Besides removing them being challenging since they don't have loops, the only other issue is that they don't have loops at all.
From the moment you wear these gloves you won't have to adjust anything. Supple leather makes it supple and feel good. At first they are very tight around the fingers, but after wearing them a few times they have stretched out. My guess is that the thin padding on the palm is more likely to be foam than gel due to the thinness, but I won't tear them open to see for myself. They are a replacement for a pair I lost that cost twice the price, and I am not remorseful about my purchase. It's not a bad buy at all, I recommend it.
