The only negative is the length of the fingers. now plan to order a 6 instead of the seven I originally ordered.
As a gift for my son, I bought him these white gloves to wear with his pinks when fox hunting A hunt. Those are, as far as I can tell, women's sizes, and they are snug fitting. The clothing that I bought is about a men's medium and my size is 10. Since I am not a rider, my son was especially happy with the gloves, so I think they are a good product. Despite being made of light leather, these gloves would not be warm, but they can be hard to find in white.
The rein fingers are well padded, and the gloves are soft and comfortable, but still thick enough to protect my hands. I wear gloves almost every day when I ride. I don't find these to be too slippery or slippy even in the desert. The reins don't slide around or slip away from my grip, and my hands don't get too hot. This is a nice pair of gloves that hopefully will last for.
This pair of gloves is excellent and will be a great addition to Despite their appearance, they are very well made and fit pretty accurately. We ordered an 8 after measuring my daughter's hand according to the size guide and they were perfectly sized. It is her first year of competition and she is only 12 years old. It looks great on these gloves and they are comfortable to wear.
Trying to find the right size for these gloves has proved challenging since it assumes the gloves follow European sizing. Upon returning the first pair, I found the size 7 (which I usually wear) had an inch excess on the fingertips. It worked for a while until the thumb of the glove started unravelling from the base. I then reordered a size 5 and it eventually worked. 5 weeks into using the product, the label has already begun to peel off. It even sounded like Heritage gloves were poorly made to me when I asked others at the barn if they had experienced this. The answer they gave was no. Since this happened to me, I'm not even sure my gloves are genuine.
It is this pair of gloves that I am buying a second time. We put on many shows with the first pair. Sadly, what it was intended for completely ruined the show. My hand was needed to protect my hand from the pony's backward jump. While holding on, the leather lead heated up my glove, causing it to melt.
The gloves that I bought are the first pair of "show" gloves that I have ever bought. As the temperature started rising, I took a guess at the size I would need, and I was correct. They're snug, well made, and surprisingly warm, which may be an issue for some people. Although they are snug and well fitting, even though they are snug, they do not inhibit functionality. There is an elastic band near the knuckles, so even when the gloves are cool, you won't lose The winner is- The winner wins.
It's been a couple of years since I used my gloves, but they are wearing out now. This is a replacement pair of riding gloves I bought to replace my black riding gloves that I use for practice and shows. Besides looking good and being comfortable, they feel good as well.
