The design is nice and it fits very well. The helmet does not give the impression of a giant head. In this case, I have been able to buy a cheaper version of the same helmet elsewhere, and it has a magnetic clasp and mesh head cap with padding around the edges to make it more comfortable. Amazon had them and they did not have any more of them so I purchased them here. In order to make up for their losses, amazon is selling an older model without a magnetic clasp for a much higher price. This is what they are doing to claim compensation. Older merchandise being sold higher for a much higher price. Disappointed with Amazon for price gouging but not the products.
My clothes are really tight. I don't know if they are supposed to be this tight. The helmet is not very comfortable on my head. It does cause me a little headache. If I got a medium it would be too big for my head. Overall, I would recommend this helmet as I haven't encountered any accidents to test it yet, so hopefully I will never have to use it. It is, however, a very Beautiful! I love the design!.
I used the barn helmet for the first few months of my riding I researched and purchased this Troxel helmet when I decided I was committed to riding each week for a while. My favorite parts of the display were the style, the safety ratings, and the design. During my emergency room visit last week, I never had any head trauma, nor did I sustain any head injuries during the incident. Despite my fall off the horse (fractured L4), I landed on my lower back, before landing on my back before falling into the dirt. There's no way around it, because this helmet caused it. If it hadn't been for this, I know the situation would have been far worse. As of today, I have finally looked at the helmet to see if any cracks have formed, and it does not appear to be As a result of the impact of my skull, there is a small compression in the foam inside. A few tips Plan on putting a liner in your helmet on colder days since this one does not offer any warmth over the ears. I ordered a small after measuring my head exactly, and I had no issues with the fit. When it arrived, I was afraid it would be too small, but apart from that it was perfect. As a result The design is wonderful, and the functionality is superb. It may not be possible for me to wear it again due to my back.
The Tipperary Sportage has been my favorite for many years but I decided to give this a try after watching a friend wearing it and loving the looks of it. You've made an awesome video! Western riders like myself will appreciate how it has a more low profile and sleek appearance than other helmets, as well as being light weight, extremely comfortable, providing good coverage, looking like a western style helmet, and fitting well. Her Small size (I am a 6 3/4 cowboy hat size) was perfect. I ordered Mediums for the Tipperary hat. I placed an order for a small brown. I wore it twice this week and both times got compliments like "it looks good and it's not as big as my beloved Tipperary's. ". That's it. I'll be getting another in tan or black as soon as possible.
There are a number of helmets with a half-face feature The best way to adjust them is with a kind heart. The one in question is not the one in question. As needed, two clips can be moved forward or backward to adjust the fit of the back Furthermore, you can organize an even more snug fit side to side. We horseback riders are all aware that it is only a matter of time before our next fall in a horseback ride. There are several "experts" who suffer brain damage from the assumption that experts are always safe and never fall off. Since I only have one head, I want to keep it protected.
The Troxel helmet is one of several I've owned. The lightweight design is comfortable to wear. A fall damaged my last helmet and I had to replace it. I was saved from injury thanks to it. Do not ride without a helmet, regardless of your level of experience or how well your horse is trained It is Troxel I have found to be the most reliable.
Unlike the new helmets, this one did not have the self-locking mechanism There is a locking buckle as advertised, but it is the old style. It was disappointing to see that it didn't have the new self-expression Stainless steel buckle with locking mechanism. As described, the helmet arrived in perfect condition and was as described. I have just finished my second Troxel Sierra helmet, and this model is substantially lighter than my older model. This helmet fits as expected, but be sure to check the sizing chart on Troxel's website.
It feels like a dork wearing it. I finally got whacked hard of late. Four weeks ago, I landed on my head for the first time in over 60 years of riding. Nevertheless, the doctors tell me that one more head injury and I will be a dork all the time. had nothing to do with horses. It is hotter than hell, as is any helmet. Wearing it when doing groundwork isn't a good idea. Leaving the green rank and agile to the younger generation is the right thing to do.
