My original desire was for a more classic looking schooling helmet. However, after trying many on, I realized that my head is rounded in shape. I found that most of the helmets I tried on were more oval shaped, leaving both front and back room. In anticipation of this one, which is recommended for rounded heads, I reluctantly made the purchase. As soon as it got out of the box, I did not want to put it down. It appears to be black when I have the cocoa color. I love how pretty the casing is and how sharp it looks. There is a Tipperary emblem patch at the front of the helmet that I absolutely love. It's great that this helmet comes down in the back, wrapping around the back of the head. I am a medical professional and I appreciate how comfortable it is. The helmet is the only one I've seen that offers this feature. There is a sense of safety and security in it for me. I ordered a medium because I measure 22 inches around my head. The seat is too tight with all the padding, but if I remove the removable back pad and replace it with a mini pad that goes in the front, it's comfortable. I couldn't be more pleased. You don't even realize it's there because it's so comfortable. I'd say a medium can fit someone with a circumference of 22 inches or so with those inserts, but I wouldn't say longer. Has a sling-able dust cover that is convenient to carry.
After that, I was given the opportunity to try a few The tipperary design that I used was updated when the old one wore out (not through falling, but brushing tree branches and such) and I needed a new one. This was a great experience for me! I liked how it was well cushioned but still I don't have to tilt my head up in order to see ahead because the net doesn't come so close to my eyes. There might be a slight bit of tightness to it as I have a mild headache after riding, but I love the fact that it is not loose and sloppy like a few other helmets I've worn in the past. My experience tells me that it is the best helmet for the price.
I am very pleased with how quickly this helmet arrived and it is exactly what I expected. Its manufacturer year is 2014, which means it has already been around for three years. My helmet was made 3 years ago, so I don't understand why it's being sent to me. According to my understanding, it is only recommended to use these helmets for 5 years from the year of manufacture. With the price I paid for it knowing that it most likely will have to be replaced again within another two years, I'm very disappointed about that.
This helmet is excellent, stylish looking, and provides excellent protection for the head and neck, including the back of the head due to the fact that it covers the lower back area more than some In addition, the helmet comes with an array of self-sticking foam inserts so that you can customize it to fit your particular Despite the fact that this helmet fitted quite tightly, I was able to get it to fit securely and firmly, which is what is necessary As a helmet with excellent padding, this one is well constructed and will do a great job at I like the chin strap because it is able to be unbuckled and buckled easily, and the tightness can be easily.
It seems a bit long when the chin pad is on, but when it's removed and the strap stays are removed it fits This grows very well and has plenty of space. It is well worth the investment. This helmet looks fantastic - I like the way it covers the back of the head more than my current helmet (although there continues to be controversy surrounding this aspect) I'm going to get one for myself soon. I think this is great!.
This helmet is far superior. In place of the hard styrofoam used by Troxel is actual padding with some give. I like the way Tipperary helmets have a tendency to fall more behind. The top of the roof has vents to keep things cool, and in Alabama that comes in handy!.
There is no way that the leather keeper will even fit on it as the strap is so long that it will not fit over the leather keeper. Otherwise though, I love the helmet as a whole! My favorite thing about this mask is that it covers me from top to bottom. Having my feelings protected like that does a world of good for me. A friend of mine gifted me the charcoal color and I love it because it's not glossy. The matte finish makes it appear understated and I love this helmet, and its price is great! I'd rather have this than Troxel!.
Three of these Tipperary sport helmets have been purchased by me. A trailer one is kept in my trailer and an arena one in my arena. While this helmet is very comfortable, it is the safety aspect for me that I am most concerned about. Helmets with a long nose rest farther down the neck than helmets with short nose rests. This was not the first helmet I purchased. I did a lot of research before I bought it. Excellent helmet. I highly recommend it.
