After I searched online, I found it on Amazon, where the seller had the same price, so I purchased it from them. This helmet is pretty stylish and the white really stands out against the black. There is only one downside I was not expecting it to be so warm. Originally, I thought this helmet would be cooler than my Thousand helmet, however, it is only a small improvement over mine. Although I don't regret the purchase, I am still satisfied.
I feel perfectly comfortable wearing this helmet (Medium). It was easy to adjust and the white was a nice almost matte bright white, visible but not attracting This doesn't seem to be a warm place This helmet is a low-cost MIPS helmet for the most part. I just got rid of my old helmet, and MIPS helmets are over $200. While I shouldn't be cheap for brain protection, I think I should be.
Rather than complain about the helmet, I have only one issue with the Smith Optics website. "Air Evac" is listed as a link on the page. You will be taken to a page that describes Air Evac, MIPS and Koroyd when you click on that link. This helmet appeared to have all three features, so I considered it a good buy. The Koroyd layer does not exist on it. The only features it has are MIPS and Air Evac. I still think it fits well. When I saw this model did not include Koroyd protection, I would have ordered up to a model that did.
Looks awesome and provides great protection for my head with its MIPS technology. Bikes helmets offer a lot more than most people expect. The matte black finish and comfortable fit make it a great choice. The perfect fit can be dialed in with ease by using the rear wheel. The helmet I chose met all of my requirements after I tried several others.
Great helmet! I love it. This fit feels good and doesn't feel too tight on my temples. It is very sturdy while I wear it because it gives me peace of mind knowing that my head is.
The helmet fits well. It is true to size. Most of the time, I am on the borderline between a Large and a I was able to fit well in this Large. This Giro sits a little lower on the brow as a result of its deeper cut. I had to get used to it a bit more than my previous model though. As well as being long enough, the straps are also adjustable. Hate the helmet, but love the concept.
Easy adjustment at the back is one of my favorite features. The helmet can adjust a bit to accommodate my changing hairstyle, so it is nice to have that option.
