That's difficult for me to say. I had a friend who had a size that fit me, so I ordered the same size. I would think you do the circumference of the head at its widest part, rather than the length.

Is there an adjustable dial on the back of this?

It seems so to me. I got it from my granddaughter, so I'm not sure, but I swear it was.

It is the best helmet ever! I ordered a medium/large for my tween granddaughter and she really There are adjustment points in the back so it can be made smaller if necessary. In addition to being stylish, the helmet is very comfortable. Vents in the top back of the helmet ensure that the helmet is It's a good thing the hairnet and helmet cover are good quality and useful. I have one for my granddaughter, but she doesn't use it very often but it's fun to have one.

I love it. My daughter has been riding and the brim is wobbling so she needs to adjust it because sometimes the brim pops out of place too easily. It is not always very easy to wind it to the right size the first time it does the same thing when it is wet.

Exactly what I wanted! I chose this for my son since it is unisex (I did not need the hair net since it is This is a good quality product, the adjustment dial makes sure that it fits perfectly!
