it is the size of a small pony. I was thrilled with the fit for my 40" (10 hands) pony.
In any case, I don't see a problem with that. It's fine as long as there is a bar in the middle so both ends can be tied down.
As expected, the harness was more spacious than I had anticipated. Ponies under the size of a pony shouldn't attempt this
It is a pot that is small or large, so it is not a sink

I was looking for the least expensive harness (without having to use nylon), so I wasn't expecting much in the way of quality, and I was very happy to find such a great harness! For my pony, it will be a wonderful training harness to abuse and use while learning how to drive. This harness fits him perfectly, which was not what I expected, since he has a pony size body paired with a cob size head, and I anticipated having to use several different sizes of bridles to get him fit, but in fact, it fits him perfectly! A harness like this should not be used for heavier use or in a show ring, but it is useful for good, basic neighborhood driving. We're still working on ground driving because he hasn't been hooked up to a cart yet. As you can see in the picture, I have the harness all connected to itself.
I purchased it because "small pony" was mentioned on the label. 34" or less is considered a pony, as is anything between 14" and 34". The hands are two. Miniature horses are defined as those that are less than 34 inches tall. being said, I figured it could be reasonably assumed that Tough1 and the tack shop selling this product would be aware of this very simple fact. There is no such thing as a "small pony" harness it is more likely for horses over 34" but under 10 hands' length. A few details about the bridle and the girth were also described in the description. According to the description, the Bridle has an adjustment range of There is no truth in that statement. There is only one size adjustment on the bridle The holes on each side weren't very big and if you poked one more hole on each side, you'd have 32", but there was barely room to screw in more holes. A 36" pony would barely fit into this and it didn't even come close to fitting. There was no room for everyone. I recommended that the bridle be adjustable as described and it would have fit my horse. Despite the fact that the girth goes up to 58", there isn't much room to add more length by punching holes, so don't expect much more girth space to be provided It was about 2' too short on each side. The overcheck was about 8" too short, and the breeching was about 10". It was clearly made for a miniature horse and not a pony of the same size. this harness has a few good things associated with it, as long as you don't buy the wrong size for the wrong There is a lot of softness and quality to this leather. I wish the hardware had been brass, but it is a well made set. is too short, but it comes off so you can replace it or remove it if you so wish, which is nice. However, the lines are very thin leather and the traces are quite thin, so they will not last very long.
I bought the horse-size harness for Plum, as I thought it would work on my bigger horse too. Plum is about 14 hands and about 14 hands tall. My style would have been better suited to the COB size, but it is a little loose on her. Despite the fact that it is well made and Plum seems very comfy in it, I like the harness.
Some of the buckles are a little tight on some of the straps, but I'm hoping that oiling will soften the leather. It is hard to adjust the length of the cropper with the leather as it is way too long. Additionally, the hole sizes on the traces had to be increased. There is some intricate work in the bridle No way will I fit my donkey's big ears into it, but it is ok, I understand that it was designed to accommodate pony-sized ears. My plan will probably be to disassemble some of the bridle in order to make it easier and more suitable for my horse. In conclusion, I am very pleased and I have made some minor adjustments (10 hands) to it in order to fit my small standard donkey.
This item appears to have been improperly stored or has been sitting for a long time. Opening it in my house, I thought it would require assembly. My wife and I are both sensitive to mildew and ended up getting The time he spent in the house wasn't even The attached pictures illustrate the situation. You should be wary of buying from a stranger.
He is used to making adjustments for things to fit his measurements. Once all the pieces have been returned, the bag is neatly sealed. I like it.
We pulled through some deeper soil, however, and the buckles that attach to the tugs came apart, causing the tug on one side to fall
Weighing as much as they did, stronger buckles would have made them better quality, but for the price, they were perfect. You may not have to replace the buckles that attach to the breast collar tugs if you do pull through deep sand like we did, but if you do you may need to replace the buckles which attach to the.
As many other customers have reported, I'm also having trouble with the size. My size is incorrect however it's tagged as a small pony and I did order one. On their website, they show measurements that do not match what you receive. The measurements they provide led me to believe I should have ordered a small pony. However, their guidelines clearly state it will not fit so I'm worried about returning it for the next size up. I am planning to keep the harness because I like Due to the fact that my pony is white, I am concerned about sizing them properly because I will be unable to return the harness after use since it will no longer look brand-new. I have attempted to contact company for advice on several occasions but have been unsuccessful. Despite looking at their website, I still could not find their.
