Amazon has a fantastic return policy that allows me to drop it off at a UPS store and be in and out in under two minutes.
Kids' sizes are available for purchase. My granddaughter is nine years old, and I've ordered several times as she has grown over the years.
I'd recommend going for a bigger size. They tend to run small, so having extra room for any type of sock, especially thicker winter and spring socks, is a good idea. In these, my 6-year-old wears a size 12 and a size 13.
He needs a shoe that fits an adult size; the 8 in these is for a toddler.

These boots held up well during a hot and humid week of full-time work. horseback riding camp for the day They were drenched and filthy as a result of the water games. Regardless, they fit perfectly and were true to size; just keep in mind that a woman's size 5 is equivalent to a child's size 3. The vendor was fantastic - thank you! Very quick and efficient!.
This is a continuation of the previous post. a wake-up call After a few months, the shoe's sole came off. br>Other than that, the shoes are very comfortable, and my daughter loves them. br>I contacted the seller, and they were very nice and helpful, sending a new pair without hesitation or questions at no cost, which is fantastic customer service.
For a week of horse camp, they were fine. I wore them a few more times for casual wear and school, and one of the soles simply disintegrated. They weren't expensive (around $30), but I had hoped they'd get a little more use from my daughter.
These tuffrider starter paddock boots used to last 6 months before they were sent in the wrong size. They've been falling apart in a matter of weeks recently. After a few rides, the boot portion separates from the sole. Quality control is an issue for Tuffrider. Furthermore, this seller sent the incorrect size boots. I didn't bother returning them because they were a size too big. All I had to do was wait for my child's feet to get bigger. However, if you required the correct size boots in a timely manner, this would be an issue.
Review has been updated: The elastic on one of the boots has stretched, causing it to no longer fit properly. The other boot is still tight and fits properly, so it appears to be a defect rather than wear.
Because these aren't leather, they don't break in as well as leather shoes I've previously purchased. Granddaughter enjoys wearing them, and the zipper gets easier to use with each wear.
My daughter finds it extremely comfortable; They performed admirably and are ideal for a beginner rider. They also sent us a free pair of TuffRider socks, which we have become addicted to. I would strongly suggest it.
My child found the socks to be a little too thick to wear with the boots. Aside from that, the boot is ideal for riding horses.
