Questions & Answers

I can't seem to find a size that fits. I'm not sure what size I'm looking for. ?

When I first ordered the boots, there was a size available, but when I tried to order them again, I couldn't find it. br>I apologize for not being able to assist you.

Is it possible to wash them?

I don't believe so; they're made of real leather and have a zipper that runs the length of the shoe. They do, however, keep the little guys' feet dry in the rain, even when puddle jumping, but we don't push it because they aren't galoshes. My grandson adores his boots and insists on wearing them all of the time; they are well-made and very nice.

This pair of mini boots is adorable
5/5

I bought these for my almost 2-year-old son, and he won't take them off. They're made with care and are very cute! They're easy to put on and take off thanks to an inside zipper. They're a little smaller than the other size 7s he has from various brands, and they're extremely snug. I'd recommend going up a size because, with toddlers, you can never be too safe! I'm a photographer, and I had some fun with his new outfit, so I've included a photo. The natural color of the boots is visible here, as well as the texture.

Real leather, runs small, and is of excellent quality
5/5

These are so cute, and they're made of genuine leather. boots were made! Perfect for our young explorer on our ranch, where snakes are a possibility. They are definitely small for their age; my son is 20 months old and is of average height and weight for his age. I ordered a size 7 in these because she wears a size 6 tennis shoe, and I'm glad I did! To keep him wearing these for longer, I'll have to get some thinner socks, but I think ordering an 8 would have made them difficult for my little walker to keep steady. He's already gotten them muddy and wet, and they've come out looking great! When my first child was this age, we bought him a pair of faux leather boots, but the toe was torn out within a week, and they looked terrible, so we never bought him another pair. When he outgrows these, I will definitely order more; For such a low price, the quality is incredible!.

For rough-and-tumble kids, these are the best boots! I bought a size 5 for my two-year-old
5/5

These boots were a huge hit with my son! He wore them for six months before growing out of them, and they're still in good condition! These boots are required for my son to go anywhere. Shorts and his boots were his uniform even in the summer. They've been soaked in water and mud multiple times and have held up admirably. To help waterproof them, I used mink oil shortly after purchase. Although the color changed slightly, it was well worth the effort. The genuine rubber soles withstood gravel, pavement, and dirt, and I am extremely pleased with these boots; I will never buy boots for my children from anyone else! The zippers are also great for small children, and they helped my son put his boots on by himself for a while until he was able to slip them on himself.

Isn't R's width a little smaller than D's? Because I couldn't find a 9D to order, I went with the 9R - "R" size is a term I'm unfamiliar with
4/5

This is my fourth pair of hopalong boots, and they've all been marked "D" in the past. Both "D" and "R" are regular widths, according to what I found while researching online. Smoky Mountain didn't provide any information about "D" or "R" sizing, which only added to my confusion. br>I compared these to my 8D's, and the R appears to be a little narrower across the toe box. My toddler claims they are comfortable, but because the toe box is stiff, I can't tell where his fat little foot is in there, and I'm not convinced the sizing is correct. After deliberating for a week about what to do, I ultimately decided to return the R size because I was able to order a 9D. br>br>If your child doesn't have wide feet and you're worried about the fit, these boots are a great option. They're both adorable and long-lasting. When children require assistance putting on the boots, the zipper is a great feature. I've noticed that as my child has grown older, we no longer use the zipper feature, but I continue to order this model boot because I adore it.

"It's the same as my father's!" ", but at the very least ORDER SIZE UP
5/5

" Other reviews advised to size up, and I did so because my son was just getting into size 6 and another pair of shoes we had for him in size 7 were still a little too big, so I took the advice and ordered a size up 7. They were far too small (nearly two sizes) and had to be exchanged for a size 8. Apart from the sizing issue, these boots are fantastic! br>He says, "Just like daddy. " For my little guy, these cowboy boots have a real cowboy feel to them. What more could you ask for in a toddler boot at this price than leather uppers and shafts, foam shaft and bed, and non-slip rubber sole? And the zipper down the inside is great for easy on/easy off, "I can do it myself" lil cowpokes. Unbeatable for the price, in my opinion. br>All other toddler cowboy boots I found at comparable prices looked cheap and flimsy. It's not a boot if you slap a toe bug on a plastic shell and call it a boot. Other toddler-sized boots that "looked" the part of authentic grown-up cowboy boots were more than twice the price, and at this age's rate of growth, it's not worth spending that much money for only 4 months of use. br>I'm very pleased with the Smoky Mountain Toddler Hopalongs and plan to buy another pair when he outgrows them. Thank you for providing such a high-quality product at such a low cost.

It's a bit on the large side, but it's adorable! These boots are fantastic! They're adorable, and they're exactly what I needed for my son
4/5

They do have a rounded toe and an inside zipper that makes them easy to put on and take off. I ordered a size 5 (toddler), and they are extremely large. He is currently a size 4 in shoes. I knew a 5 would work in Stride Right and a 4 would be too small, so I went with that. He can walk right out of the 5's, so a 4 would have been ideal. I didn't swap them out because I needed them this week, and I figured that because kids' feet grow so quickly, they'd fit soon. I simply put thick socks on him and tucked his jeans into the boots to keep them in place for his photos. I'm excited for him to wear these throughout the fall, winter, and possibly into the spring! They're stiff, as are a lot of new boots. It doesn't seem to bother my 21-month-old at all; he can walk around in them just fine, and I figured they'd soften up once he'd broken them in.

For rough-and-tumble boys, these are the best boots
5/5

This is my second pair of Smokey Mountain boots for my son, and he absolutely adores them. My two-and-a-half-year-old son wears them all the time, in any weather. They've been soaked in water, mud, and who knows what else and still look great. He runs on gravel, pavement, grass, and dirt fields with no damage to the rubber. The soles are made of genuine rubber and are extremely long-lasting. Unlike many other kid boots, they haven't shredded or worn out. Seriously, I'm impressed with the durability of these boots. It was well worth the money.
