Questions & Answers
It is determined by the weather conditions in your area during the winter months. We are in the Northeast, where it is extremely cold and snowy. When my daughter rides inside the barn, she will not wear these under her snow pants. She prefers to wear the thicker winter ones. Kerrits, on the other hand, she absolutely adores. They're extremely comfortable and well-made. I have no regrets about purchasing these.
Hi - The length of the extra large is 32 1/2 inches. I hope this has been of assistance.
Yes, the Kerrits Performance Tights are an excellent choice for riding in the summer. They're a bestselling kids tight for Mary's because they're lightweight, moisture-wicking, and breathable.

I ordered two pairs of tan Kerrit's Kids Riding Tights in size XL for my 12-year-old/7th-grade daughter who rides 3-days a week. She works 6 days a week and spends a lot of time at the barn doing barn chores. We went to the local tack shop at the start of the season and they only had a couple of pairs of Kerrits in her size, but I needed a few more pairs for the summer so I wouldn't have to do laundry every day to keep her clean, and Amazon came through once again. We got the Kerrit's brand riding pants from the tack shop, and we won't go back to any other brand because these pants are ultra soft, hold up well, and are even comfortable in hot summer weather. These move with you, don't bunch up in weird places, and make you feel like you're wearing pajamas even during the day. They have knee pads on the inside of the pant leg, which make them last longer than regular riding pants. Kerrit's riding pants are designed as "tights," which means they fit close to the body like a riding pant should. Because we are familiar with this brand, these pants fit as expected for us; however, if you are buying for someone who is still growing and prefers looser fitting clothing, I would recommend ordering a size up because you will outgrow them before they fall apart. Another thing to keep in mind is that we usually wear our tall socks over our pants, which keeps them in place while riding in our tall boots. Before we found the Kerrits brand riding pants, we had developed a habit. The leggings at the ankle, on the other hand, have a light weight elastic band on the inside that keeps them in place. The stirrups are not attached to the pants in any way. We specifically sought out pants without the button because it irritates your skin when your boots and socks are pressed up against your leg, and it often leaves a mark on your ankle, especially in the heat. If you really need it, I'd recommend getting the ones that can be removed, like these - .
As a result, I took a chance and purchased the small. They were also excessively lengthy. I was able to easily return them and exchange them for a different size; the Extra Small fits her perfectly and has plenty of room for growth. br>br>The pants' quality is excellent! The material is extremely gentle. My daughter is sensitive to the textures of clothing, and she approves of the pants. br>I like how the waist can be adjusted, and they've held up well after several washes. br>br>I believe the company would receive a 5 star rating if they had a more accurate sizing chart.
It's a nightmare finding something for my daughter to wear because she has sensory issues and can't tolerate anything that is too tight, too rough, has too many seams (which must be flat and soft), etc. It's a nightmare finding something for her to wear, but when I do, I horde whatever it is in different sizes and colors. These are pants I'm going to hoard. She is completely enamored with them and refuses to remove them. She wants to wear them everywhere, not just to the horseback riding. She is a novice rider, and these pants are ideal for her. She slips them on and they allow her to move freely, with no binding, chaffing, or other issues. focusing solely on her lesson or trail ride, which is EXACTLY what we require! Kerrits, you've done a fantastic job! I've become a brand aficionado. Here's some technical feedback: I bought the XL because she's eight years old, muscular, and wears a size 12 to 14. It's a little big, but the drawstring at the waist keeps it in place, and the extra length means we'll be able to wear it for a while as she grows. Because she wears them so much, I've had to wash them a few times already, and they're still holding up well. After a wash, they become even softer. These should be bought.
These were ordered in an XS size for my 5-year-old, who normally wears a size 4 or 4T. They'll be a little too long and a little too loose around the waist. They have a drawstring waist, are lightweight, and comfortable (though she is quite petite). She had been riding every day for the previous five days in a row in them. And I washed them every day; the fabric appears to be durable. And they're ideal for the hot summers in Texas. They're a bit pricey, but I think we'll get a lot of use out of them, especially since we'll be using them for a long time. Because they're a little too big for her, she'll be able to wear them for quite some time.
These are usable, but not at all the color I requested. The pair we got didn't even show up in the color options. The fabric is light and stretchy, making it ideal for hotter weather. I ordered an extra small for my petite 7-year-old, who usually wears an extra small, and they fit perfectly with no room for growth.
My 9-year-old daughter is a size 7 in clothing, so we ordered a small for her. The pants have a good fit around the waist, but the legs are a little loose, but my daughter is quite slim. It's a great length. She's just under 42 inches tall, and the pants are long enough to reach her ankles. The material is light and airy, making it ideal for riding in hot weather.
I purchased the navy. My 11-year-old granddaughter's favorite color is purple. She adores them because they are so well-fitting. Everyone is very pleased, and I would order them again without hesitation, according to her mother.
We got these for my daughter, and she loves them, but they're a little tight! We ordered her regular size, which is long enough, but has a small upper thigh and hips. She usually wears her normal size, but if you order, you might want to go up a size.
