My daughter and her friends wanted to hang a swing, so I ordered this. I didn't feel comfortable letting kids swing from it because of its narrow width. I believe it would work if you were using a smaller punching bag. I ended up returning it and paying an additional $16 for the larger one shown in the first photo's background.

Doesn't fit my I-phone's screen size. It was too big of a beam to work, so it had to be modified. Aside from that, excellent service and speedy delivery.
