The following is taken from the product description: I used 70 Ib up to 350 Ib, so 100 Ib should suffice. br>Also, make sure it's hung from a joist or beam in the ceiling.
You could, but the bag's weight might be a problem. I wouldn't attempt it unless the bag was lighter and had a spring in the line.

The bag's weight is being supported by a black metal bracket, which is corroding. It'll only be a matter of time before it needs to be replaced. This makes me angry.
I hung an 80 lab bag using two of the four screws included with it. I did so for two reasons: 1) the screws are enormous and difficult to sink; and 2) the screws are large and difficult to sink. 2) They're so big that I was afraid they'd split the beam if I put two more in. The good news is that for an 80-pound bag, two screws appear to be sufficient. In terms of the price - For $20, you're getting a few pieces of hardware. However, it does not appear that these items are available at the hardware store. Especially not the 360-degree rotation bracket.
I hung the bag from a single eye-hook at first. hook; However, this setup, when combined with a spring, is both more secure and quieter when punching the bag.
I was initially concerned that the bracket would not be thick or strong enough to support the weight of a 250-pound bag, but it has performed admirably in my living room. I don't leave the bag mounted in my living room because it bounces and swings too much, but the bracket holds up well during the Kick Boxing routine. I only wish the bracket was longer to install across beams so that my apartment's beam did not have to bear as much weight. The only reason I gave the product a four-star rating is because of this.
I didn't install it, and I don't use and abuse it, so I can't talk about it, but there's a part of me that just can't trust it! I could be overreacting, and the item could be fine, but the "iron" they claim it to be feels a little too light and not sturdy enough for me. This is why I only gave it three stars out of five.
I've been using it for quite some time and have recently replaced the o ring with a heavy duty carabiner. Bag weighing 100 lbs The hole is showing signs of wear from being used three to four times a week for heavy and double end bag work, as well as weightlifting with a pulley. This is a solid piece of equipment. I would strongly suggest it.
When I first started using this product, my heavy bag fell from the ceiling.
So I bought this hanger because I have an Everlet heavy weight punching bag that I wanted to set up. This hanger had fantastic welds and materials. However, after only three days on the hanger, the bolts that held it in place snapped, causing the hanger and bag to fall. The ceiling to which it was attached now has four holes in it, which will remain until I fix it.
