My kids and I got these so that we can have fun at home. Several years ago, my wife took a kickboxing class. We had some gloves from that class, so I thought we could use them. It was very easy to slip these mitts on, and they fit so snugly. I would not say that my kids hit harder than Mike Tyson, but these mitts are sturdy and absorb a fair amount of force. They were attending a party with their little cousins, and the kids had a lot of fun playing with the punch. In the future, I plan on using these more vigorously.
