Questions & Answers

Would you like to spar?

Thank you for getting in touch. Hello, *br> *br> This is a great There are eight ounces to sixteen ounces of Sanabul boxing gloves. When working with bags and mitts, 12 oz, 14 oz, and 16 oz are the most common sizes. When used during long training sessions or with heavy bags on it, the 8oz and 10oz gloves lack enough padding to protect the hands adequately. These gloves are typically reserved for professional boxing competitions and lack enough padding for protection. If you want to do general bag and mitt work, then you can use anything from 12 ounce to 16 ounce It may be better for you to use a 12oz glove if your hands are smaller. You will notice that after your hands have been wrapped in the gloves, they are far more snug. Most people have the ability to fill 16oz gloves with a full 180in hand wrap, provided their hands are not particularly small. In order for your partner and yourself to enjoy sparring, you should generally opt for 16oz boxing gloves or whatever size is closest to your own as well as your own size. The knuckle area of sparring gloves is typically more padded than the knuckle area of competition gloves. With soft gloves, you will be able to reduce impact and avoid injury to your hands and opponents' faces as much as stiff There are some athletes who spar with the same gloves they use for bag work, however the volume of impacts against the gloves will eventually compress the padding on knuckles. *br> *br> Thanks, I hope

Could the 12oz be used by someone whose hands are bigger?

Thank you for your question! Hello there, I appreciate your question! The following size charts will help you choose the gloves that are right for you Please use the following format to write your response - The following are the weights in ounces A person that weighs less than 100 pounds (the average size for young people) From 10 to The following 12 oz. containers are available A person weighing between 100 and 250 pounds Size of a woman at 125 pounds (typical to women) - - - Is made up of 14 ounces of the following A person between the weights of 125 lbs. and 200 lbs. The weight of 160 pounds is - The best way to measure 16 ounces You may also refer to the "General Size Guide" on this listing, under the "Product Description" section, if you are over 180 lbs (common weight for sparring). If you are uncertain about how your measurements will relate to a specific glove size, then you should read our size charts. Gloves should be snug enough that your fingers won't wiggle during impact, yet relaxed enough that not too much pressure will cause your hands to go numb. If the gloves are comfortable, they should not feel awkward. We hope this helps, if they are big, you may need a different size.

When I buy gloves, I should buy a size 8 depending on the circumference of my hands. When I'm only 5 inches, how am I supposed to start? Is this going to be my first pair of ?

In order to measure the weight of a boxing glove, you need to be aware of the circumference of your hand. In the event that those are your first gloves, you might want to try 12 oz.

The quality is high, while the price is reasonable
5/5

Since I started training mixed martial arts and striking six years ago, I've developed a number of skills. Although I wasn't sure if I wanted to try these gloves, since this is a newer company, I did my homework and found fighters as successful as Michael Bisping using them each day. As these gloves aren't heavy, they won't fit you very well if you were looking for gloves with lots of bulk. As these are very supportive compact Thai style sparring gloves, if you have small to medium sized hands, 180" wrist wraps will be fine, but if you have large or XL hands, 120" wraps might be necessary since they are intended to be tight fitting. It has been my pleasure to use many different brands of gloves in the past, and this fair-priced, professional-quality model is by far my favorite. They were so comfortable to play with I had no wrist or hand fatigue after over an hour of sparring, and at that price, you can afford to buy a new pair a year regardless of whether you need them. I'm glad you liked it, Can you tell when some new shin guards and head gear are coming out.

It was a good price, but only For the price, here are a few things to consider It's pretty cool to see these
3/5

A glove of this quality will not be found for $50. Any item in that price range will be Everlast or Title junk that will crack your fingers and turn to dust in just Therefore, that is what I have to say. Buying these and not thinking twice will do great for anyone who's brand new (or cheap). However, snobs like me will want to read the remainder of this article. A few months ago, when I started training again, I bought this pair of gloves. As for the price, I figured it's at least worth a shot, and I have had decent experiences with Sanabul products in the past. The synthetic leather made these shoes feel good out of the bag because they already had that "broken in" feel. These four items have been part of my daily routine ever since I have been working five days a week for the past three purchased a single 16oz pair for use with pads and bags, as well as I have a complaint about the size and shape of the item. The knuckles are very awkward and puffy, tight combos are kind of hard to pull off sometimes. It feels like I have watermelons on my hands sometimes (maybe the 14oz'ers are more comfortable). In addition to the wrist area, there is very little protection around the fingertips, which seems odd considering that these are With these on, it is a bit difficult to block kicks. It does have a decent shape where they are great for sparring without headgear but I wouldn't recommend them for heavy contact. Several people have commented on how soft the gloves feel on the face as compared with traditional 16oz leather In that sense, there's at least a positive. The only other thing I'd like to point out is I've been working on pad and bag work for three months, which wears out the padding a great deal to the point where my hands are tired after my sessions. Additionally, it is beginning to fall apart already on the inside. The reason I was hoping for three months instead of years was that I didn't expect to get very long out of it. My hands are quite large, so I hit hard over the course of a session, but overall I was a bit I would suggest, though, that if you train a lot, you should buy better gloves (made from real leather) from the start. When you buy a high-quality product (Fairtex , Hayabusa, etc. ) and take proper care of it, they should last you for many years. Alternatively, if you train a few days a week, you will probably get at least a year out of them.

Gloves are great for the price, especially for the quality
5/5

There are Muy Thai gloves on those hands. Featuring firm padding and a square shape. Bag work and sparring are done with them. Boxing gloves designed for aerobic exercise don't fit as well as these. They are more snug, but not constricting in any way. Wearing a full 10' wrap underneath has never been a problem for me. As I took a hard hit to the bag In addition, these gloves do not communicate pain or even a lot of a shock.

In addition, they smell just I like these gloves a lot.

Gloves that are great for training
4/5

The following update is temporary in nature I bought these gloves about a month ago, and they have barely lasted that long. Sansubal, can you contact me to go over replacement options? I have the other glove, and it is just fine (I change stance often), so it seems to be a defect. The Amazon customer service team did not respond to my query. The '6'- phrase These shoes were a perfect fit for me at 4 inches. I like the way it feels cozy as well. It felt like I had a big puff of foam going on my knuckles when using Fairtex. You can really feel your punches connect with these, they are snug.

The fan in me doesn't really like it
3/5

A few of their Essentials V items have come to me in the past (which I enjoyed. I've been wanting to get a couple gis for a long time) and I wanted to love them. The main selling point is that they offer some decent padding. The fist area is fairly padded, so these could be useful for some light bag work or double-end bags, I guess. There is a very low level of wrist support with these, so I wouldn't recommend them for heavy bag work or similar, and the air flow does not feel very good so I probably would not even use them for simple bag workouts. aesthetics are important to you, however, these gloves are really ugly, so that's probably not a huge deal for you. They seem like they would be acceptable for light sparring without the issues mentioned above, but I have not tried sparring with them yet. I wasn't sure how durable these would be since I had to return them almost immediately, but I would say they were probably going to last about a year or two at most before they started peeling, at which point you will probably want to get better gloves. Apparently, these gloves are the best value for your money, but if I were to buy them for $50, I would I would argue that these are priced at a point where almost no one would be able to afford them. In fact, if you're a beginner who is just hitting a bag, you can get cheaper gloves with better all-around support. However, if you're going to spar, you'll be glad you put in the extra $20. Invest in a decent pair of fairtex, windy, twins, whatever you like, you need your hands and will not want to drop power bombs while exercising.
