Questions & Answers

What is the level of resistance to these? Isn't it true that I just placed an order with you?

Kamiekca, thank you for your inquiry! br>br>We try to avoid expressing resistance as a number because it varies depending on the stretch of the bands and the size of the person (e.g. For example, a larger back, a longer reach, a wider stance, and so on). The resistance increases as you stretch the bands, and the type of grip you use can also affect the upper body band's resistance, as shown in this video. br>br>At a bare minimum stretch, br>- Around 40 pounds of resistance is provided by the upper body band.
- Around 30 pounds of resistance is provided by the ankle bands. br>br>Through testing, we've fine-tuned the resistance to provide the ideal balance of developing strength/power and developing endurance from longer workouts.br>br>Hope this helps! Gyro Fitness br>br>Gyro Fitness br>br>Gyro Fitness br>br>

Is the band worn on the outside or inside of the forearms? Is the band supposed to go around the outside of the forearms or around the ribs?

Hi Dania, br>br>You can use the upper body band with both the under-arm and upper-arm exercises. The arm grip (basic grip) and the over arm grip (advanced grip) are two different types of grips. Please take a look at the video that is attached to this Q. More information can be found in this section. Kind regards, Gyro Fitness, br>br>

Is it possible to practice kicks while wearing the lower body harness?

Hello Robby,br>br>The ankle bands are primarily intended to reinforce proper stance and boxing footwork. It can, however, be used to strengthen muscle groups like the abductors, flexors, and extensors. This could aid in the execution of certain kicks. br>br>For a visual demonstration, please see the attached video. br>br>Thank you, Gyro- Fitness

Why is this more effective than simply using a resistance band?

To begin with, there's an extra resistance strap for your ankles to aid in your stance and add a new level to the workout. It also comes with a harness that you wear to make the resistance more comfortable on your back than a regular band, as well as improving your punching form. Finally, it's a good set of handles for your punching hands. br>I hope this information is useful!

It's a must-have if you're looking for a unique way to express Everything you need to know (both the advantages and disadvantages)
5/5

I am a USA Amateur Boxing (Green Book) Level 2 Certified Boxing Coach. this Decemberbr>br>First and foremost, this is only worth getting if you have a normal size arm of 68 inches or more; This is my personal viewpoint. If you have dinosaur arms like me and Vasiliy Lomachenko, this may not be for you for one reason only, which I'll explain later. At the end, I'll give you a summary: The device adds tension to your punches, which is the biggest pro. It should help you improve the speed and strength of your punch over time. It's awkward to put on the device at first, but after playing with it for 10 minutes, you get a sense of how it works. I'll basically give you all the information you require. YES, THIS IS GOING TO BE PUBLISHED AS A BOOK!

* 100% you should wear the vest despite -

You are not required to do so. The vest is simple to set up, but it can be a pain to put on and take off, despite the fact that it only takes a few seconds. The vest adds stability, allowing for more tension to be felt. This isn't to say it makes it harder; rather, it gives it a more natural feel. It still does the job without the vest, but not as well as it does with it, in my opinion. br>br>* Another advantage is that it aids in maintaining good physical condition to some extent. Unless you're using a long guard, you should keep your elbows in tight when boxing. The con comes into play at this point. br>br>* (CON) If you have a good reach, say 68 inches or more, there isn't much of a downside. For instance, I am 5'6" tall with a 65-inch reach. To feel resistance in the jab and cross, I need to extend my arms slightly even when I'm not throwing. You won't be able to tell if you're throwing hooks, upper cuts, or body shots. The only punches that add resistance are straight punches. br>br>My only suggestion is that they shorten the bands by 2 or 3 inches and increase the stretch a little more to solve the problem. br>br>How does this compare to, say, using tube bands or a stretch band from physical therapy? I feel like I have more resistance and fluidity when I use those. The issue is that it hurts your hands after 5 minutes, so this device is much more convenient. The ankle strap. br>br> You'll feel resistance as long as your stance is wide. How does it compare to, say, Fast Feet from the same title? Both are extremely comfortable to wear and perform admirably. I'd say they're about equal; I'd shorten the bands on both to add even more resistance, but you still get a good workout. Pro:
- a high level of resistancebr>- br>- Assists in maintaining good form a lot of funbr>br>a lot of funbr>a lot of funbr>a lot of fun
- You won't likely feel much resistance if your arms are short.
- If you only use jabs and crosses, it won't help you. You can throw all the punches you want, but they won't help you.

Great concept and execution - It's great for working out with
5/5

The order was delivered on time and in good shape. The material, stitching, and other aspects of the product are of very high quality; It's very easy to put on and take off; The ergonomics of the hand grips and the comfort of the parts that come into contact with the body are both excellent. I consider myself a beginner, but the bands provide just enough resistance for me to build strength and engage the right muscles. The product can also be worn without the full vest, which is great for casual use when you aren't in full work out mode, such as when you want to use it while watching TV or doing other things. For the money, this is a fantastic purchase.

This is a useful program
4/5

I like how you're looking at it from the perspective that you're encountering resistance. It's far superior to the one that has been blasted across social media. br>br>It's important to focus on proper technique (i. e. rotation from the feet up) because it's easy to fall into the habit of "pushing" out the punch instead of snapping it with your entire body. After a few rounds, I noticed that my technique was becoming "sloppy" because it felt like it was supposed to be a chest/press workout. br>br>You should still wear a shirt with it because it will rub against your back skin. Even with a tank top on, it chafes my triceps. The best option is to wear a short-sleeved t-shirt. br>br>Overall, a good tool to incorporate into a boxing workout. If I could wear it without a shirt and not chafe, it would be a five-star product.

Excellent for boxing and fitness training
5/5

This is a well-made shadow boxing instructor. I really like the ankle bands because they help with proper footwork and provide the necessary resistance. The vest is extremely comfortable to wear and aids in maintaining proper posture. The bands are of good quality, and it's obvious that a lot of thought went into their creation, and I enjoy wearing them. br>br>My only complaint is that the upper body resistance cannot be increased in any way, and if you're going to use this as frequently as I am, it would be nice to have more resistance as well as the ability to increase and decrease the upper bands like you can with the lower bands. br>br>Aside from that, I really enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone. Staying in shape with shadow boxing is a fantastic way to do so.

It's a pleasurable experience to work with! I just opened the box, and the tape that is supposed to keep the contents secure was torn
5/5

It's an A- after a thorough examination and testing. So far, it's been a pleasant experience to use, and it's been a useful addition to my workout routine. I didn't want to wrap my hands for punching the bag on some days, so I wanted to do shadowboxing instead, but I thought I might need some resistance. This is effective. This piece of equipment is highly recommended whether you want to start boxing or just want a different workout.

Yes, it is worthwhile, but Physical Therapy is how I use it
4/5

It's something I use while standing and while sitting. For me, the tension is too light in any position. I add a second figure 8 tension band, which raises the tension to the level I require. With the back velcro fasteners, the vest is what makes this so good. To understand why, you must apply it. Perhaps tension bands could be added as an option.

This isn't good
3/5

This is a terrible design. This is a very weak band with little resistance. I've been practicing martial arts for a long time and was looking forward to trying something new, but I was disappointed. br>br>They want you to use a basic grip that provides no resistance, and I'm 6'1" with long arms. The "advanced grip" is terrible because it causes the entire thing to roll up the back. I have broad shoulders and a wide back, so no matter how tight I make the harness, it doesn't fit!.
