It has a good foundation. My daughter's baton instructor gave her permission to use it. One thing I didn't notice, but which was most likely my honest mistake, is that it only has one large end, with the other end being made differently.

Overall, this is an excellent basic baton. It's a little lighter in this style than I prefer. The balance point is not in the center, but up toward the Ball end, which is most noticeable when tossing, so I don't think it's very well centered. When you toss the baton, there is more baton on the tip side. A beginner may find it difficult to catch it as a result of this. It works for me, even though I'm not a novice. Great value for the money, and the order was completed quickly. This is exactly what I'm looking for at this time. I'd upgrade to a heavier baton if I used it every day, but it's perfect for what I'm doing now.

The delivery of the order was prompt. The presentation was fantastic! The final product was a huge letdown. Twrilling was nearly impossible due to the baton's lack of weight. This is a product that I would not recommend.
