Using the lanyard was not an option. It would not have given enough slack to pin a shirt to it. It is designed for helmets. In my son's case, it was perfect for him to play flag.

Braces are not compatible with this product. There is a complete misrepresentation of the product The package clearly states that it is compatible with braces, but the box clearly states that it is not compatible.

It says on the website that it works with braces, but on the back of the package it says in all capital letters not to use it I must know which one it is. Despite spending fifteen dollars on this, I was only able to disappoint my son to a great extent.
