I have a 8 year old son. I needed this for football, even though I have a very bad gag reflex. Having to trim it down a bit suited his tastes perfectly, but it turned out pretty good.

It did not fit properly since it is one size fits most

We had to cut it to get it to a pliable state, so that the sharp edges would not cause him any harm. My son was not happy about it not fitting properly since it says one size fits most.

Buying this was a good choice

Kids will love this size. It didn't fit my son's mouth well and was way too uncomfortable, he got another underarmour mouth guard from store Dick's. There is nothing better than this one.

This is not a durable product

This is not a very durable material. I was regularly finding chunks of this in my son's mouth with normal use over a short flag football season. I imagine he was chewing on it, but considering that is what it is intended for, I expect it to hold up better.

I like it, but it isn't There is no lanyard with the mouth piece, but there is one with the necklace

It's probably not the best mouthpiece for you if, not for whatever sport you intend to use it for, but for something else that requires tethering to a piece of equipment.
