Although I don't use this for sports, I do use it for other purposes. The regular OTC products I use cause my gag reflex to trigger due to the thick consistency. I bought this to help me deal with bruxism (sleep grinding). Thanks to the slim size and unique material of this mouthguard, I have finally been able to sleep through the night. chewed it up a bit, but it still works for me. In order to reinforce the pressure points on my mouthguard, I cut off the excess corners and stuck them to the pressure points. Putting out a product for those who suffer from bruxism could be a great success. Thanks a lot!.

The materials do not allow for it to be molded effectively, and there is not enough material for it to provide any reasonable protection, regardless of whether it is being worn as a bite guard or while playing sports. Shape a large wad of gum into the shape of a mouth guard if you want to. I think you'd get a better result, and probably feel more comfortable, in the other way around. We shouldn't permit the sale of garbage like this.

They have never gone back to traditional mouthguards since they discovered this. The mouth guards are molded almost like the invisalign braces, so you literally have to pop them out of your teeth with your fingers so that you can open your mouth during a game and yell and talk freely without fear of the mouth guard coming They also gain a whole lot more air since they do not have to keep their teeth clenched to hold it in. Obviously you need to watch the videos to learn how to do it, but they are well written and straight forward. It took us two hours to get the hang of it. It takes 3 attempts the first time, but you can mold it over and over again if you don't get it right the first time. My older daughter has braces, so we lined her top teeth with tin foil and then molded them over it - she did We needed to make some more adjustments and try a few more times before getting If you have plenty of time, you can mold it, so plan on working with it when you have ample time. Trying it for the first time five minutes before you have to leave for a game is not a good idea.

It would have been great if this product had worked for me. My daughter has been using a heavier mouth guard for a while and hasn't liked I liked the fact that it was lightweight and allowed for good airflow. Although, the process of molding it to her teeth was extremely difficult and time consuming. After 45 minutes of removing it and starting over, it became too much for her to handle. I ended up throwing away the mouth guard (along with my money) since you can't return one. It is normal for her mouth to be the size it is at her age. However, it would fold over oneself, miss teeth, not cover gums, etc and we would need to start again. Despite its great premise, the product does not live up to my expectations.

In the past two years, my two sporty children and I have owned a lot of mouthguards - and this is - the best one yet A number one choice by a long shot Among all of them, it was the worst. This plastic pinched my son's cheeks so hard that it caught (yet it was so easy to mold with to ensure a good fit). The lack of protection was also troubling to him. His mouth didn't seem to "lock in" and he didn't feel as if he could bite down or clamp down quite correctly. It's convenient - It is true. I was not sure it was the case. A comfortable place to stay That's definitely not the case.

In most reviews of this mouthpiece, a retainer-like fit is stated once the correct mold is applied. If you remove the mouthpiece, you can talk, drink, and spar without having to take it out. The fact that it allowed me to breathe freely with no restrictions really appealed to me while I trained BJJ. This mouth guard helped me keep my breathing while playing rugby, I was constantly gagging on a mouth guard I had bought at a sporting good store, so I tried it out. The blazer did take several reheatings for it to fit right, but after wearing it during the entire match I not only didn't notice it, but I was able to talk and drink without issue. The product is excellent and does everything that it is supposed to. Having my kid breathe easier, drink more water, and speak more clearly has made her feel better. However, even better was the fact that it took us four attempts to mold it correctly, and each time we unrolled and put it back into hot water it was better than before. He even bit through the material once, causing holes in the material. I worried I would have to buy a new A beautiful product.
