I give it 1/5 stars based on my first impression. Please note Reading the instructions multiple times and practicing fitting it a lot before actually attaching the mouthpiece helped me to get the fit right. Based on my experience with properly fitting this OPRO Power-Tap to a tripod I am satisfied with the results and impressions derived from my analysis Fit is important. As a result of the cage fitting system, I was hopeful that the cage would fit much better than many of the other boil-in-water caging systems It's been a long time since I've used a mouthguard. Although the resulting product was valuable, I feel that it wasn't worth the time or money. The fit of the product causes constant pain in my gums while There is something wrong with my mouth guard. The upper part pokes and digs into my upper gum, so I am unsure whether it is the cage system or not. Aside from this, the left lower section of the guard didn't appear to have any of the white rubber padding that the rest of the guard had While some of what I do may be attributed to my natural bite, I've molded many cheaper boil-and-fill units over the years. There have been a few bumps-and-bites before but this more expensive Opro has gotten the worst results. Trying it out to see if there are any advantages over something like Shock Doctor. Will update after sparring with it.

Having the mouthguard properly molded makes it fit like a glove. Mouthguards made with mounding are more challenging to make than those made with other materials. I really like how the fit is. However, the thickness does not sit well with me. If I were involved in combat sports involving punches and kicks, I would not wear this mouthguard. Jiu jitsu is what I would like to do with this. There is no room for your breath between the teeth when wearing this guard. Your breathing becomes too restricted when you bite down. In order to breathe effectively, you would have to open your mouth. Another reason I don't want to use this guard for MMA or boxing is the cost. These are the kind of socks that are good for rugby, football, sleeping (for tooth grinders),.

OPRO Power was the product I bought In order to avoid biting my tongue off during Jiu Jitsu, I got a mouthguard. In other words, sometimes you get hit in the mouth, but just very rarely. We had the perfect instructions for every step of the way, which made this puppy easy to mold. I was able to form it to my teeth in less than a few minutes, and it has been able to hold up well The thing doesn't seem to distort in any way when I chew on it in between rounds. My teeth have remained safe while sparring in BJJ, MMA, and muay thai with this mouth guard. It's comfortable, sticks to the top of my mouth very tightly, and I can talk freely without it getting in the way. Without having to struggle, I'm able to close my mouth and breathe easily. From knees, elbows, and head buts that occur during sparring to accidental knee or elbow strikes, it has protected my teeth from all kinds of hits.

Following the instructions is all that is required to mold the mouthpiece. In the present, I am using this mouthpiece during rugby matches. Since I'm a scrum half, I have to call out plays in a certain After molding the mouthpiece, I found that it fit very comfortably in my mouth, and I am still able to speak clearly to those I need to address. In its finished form, the mouthpiece fits perfectly against your teeth, and stays put for an extended period of time. Yeah, I haven't sparred for a while, so I haven't tested it out yet. A suggestion I would make is that for the high price point they should have included a dummy peice to practice molding so you get a good fit. Though the directions were straight forward, I felt like I still wasn't entirely clear on how the whole thing worked. I would also appreciate a link from the company for a video demonstration. I feel like if you mess up on the boiling part, you might void your warranty. In other words, if it needs to be remolded, it would not be good anymore. The shipping speed on Amazon is lightning fast, earning Amazon 5 stars.
