Selected User Reviews For Sea to Summit View Dry Sack with First Aid Markings for Medical Supplies, Overnight Use / 3 Liter
When it comes to smaller drybags, I absolutely hate their new closure strap design. The idea of preventing moisture from seeping into the bag from the top is sound, but the execution is not. This is shockingly bad. Every time I look at this bag (which is currently sitting on my desk, unable to be used), I'm still taken aback. I'm not sure why they chose such a rigid rubber when they could have used a different material to prevent leaks from the top. When you put the 1 liter option in your pack, the rubber ring you end up with at the top takes up almost as much space as the contents of the bag. Don't buy this unless you plan to hang it on the outside of your pack and have even *the tiniest* desire to save space. I'm actually quite upset about how dissatisfied I am with this product, as I usually enjoy Sea to Summit products. However, I have no idea what they were thinking when they created this. This is an unappealing layout. The idea of preventing seepage from the top edge is a good one, but since this isn't even a submersible bag, I'm not sure why the closure is so overbuilt. And, for two, putting an insanely rigid rubber strap in a 1L drybag, which takes up ungodly amounts of space in smaller packs, is just asinine. This product has left me so dissatisfied that I can't believe it. I've never given a Sea to Summit product a rating lower than five stars, and now I'm giving it a two-star rating. It felt way too wrong to give it one star, so I gave it a four-star review. But yeah. This is one to avoid if you're looking for a way to save space. Perhaps it makes more sense in larger sizes, but it's the silliest thing I've seen in a long time in this 1L bag. br>br>Pros: Replaceable side release buckles and an oval shaped bottom with clearly marked first aid! br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. On any rolldown bag, this is without a doubt the worst closure strap I've ever encountered in my entire life, and I'm not exaggerating. All of the advantages listed are ruled out. Overall: br>br> Unfortunately, this product isn't worth the money, but that doesn't mean Sea to Summit isn't a good company.
Because of the first-aid markings and color, I like this dry sack. It's easy to see when you need it the most, and it's light and water resistant. The material is durable enough to transport in a car or a bag. Mine came with my hiking backpack. Most hikers have bandages on hand in case of minor cuts or scratches. I keep a little extra in my bag in case of a bigger mishap. The bag can hold a lot of first-aid supplies and can be rolled up and sealed for storage. There are three different sizes to choose from. I use the small size for hiking and the medium size for driving, and I highly recommend this dry sack for your medical first aid kit.
Wow. I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the description. I was under the impression that I was ordering a first-aid dry bag with first-aid supplies. Those two small internal pouches shown in the photo appealed to me greatly. None of that is included in the package. br>br> It's nothing more than a small dry bag with the words "first aid" written on it.
It meets my requirements perfectly. I already have several larger sizes and wanted a small one that I could attach to my life vest to keep my car keys safe while river kayaking. If your life vest does not have a zipper pocket, this would also fit a phone.
while backpacking, larger than I expected (due to the fact that I didn't read the dimensions when ordering lol) but I know this will last because sea to summit makes the best bags.
I could have done without the window because it seems to add an extra point of failure, but everything else works perfectly!.
