Dear, if your foot is of average width, the large size will be ideal for you. If you have a WIDE foot, the XL size will fit you perfectly.
I'm not sure why no one mentioned this, but the chart below shows the arch circumference measurement and the corresponding shoe size. I'm a female with a wide foot who wears a size 9 (sometimes 9-1/2). 1/2 (depending on shoe), and I ordered a Large sleeve. I'm not sure if these should feel as tight above my arch as they do.
I have a high arch, and after suffering from plantar fasciitis, the tendon in my arch tightened. I only wore insoles when my heel was tender, but I still get the ache, so I ordered these. They're fantastic! When I've needed to wear them overnight, I've done so. For the price, I highly recommend it and would give it a try.

I've ordered several different types of these foot sleeves, and these are by far the best and most comfortable. I have another brand that I like, and one that I had to return because it wasn't snug enough, but I will definitely order more of these! I ordered a large, and they are just right in terms of snugness and firmness. My shoe size is between an 8 and an 8 wide, and I have plantar fasciitis, metatarsal problems, upper instep issues, and, to top it off, heel spurs in both heels in both feet. The relief provided by these foot sleeves is tremendous. I hope that this review proves to be useful to someone.
My height is 6'2" and my weight is 250 pounds. I wear a size 11 shoe. The xL is extremely tight on my 5/12 foot. br>br>I know it should be a little tight to support the inflamed muscles, but after wearing it under my sock in sneakers for the majority of the day, taking it off felt as good as wearing it. It's possible that going up a size would have been preferable. br>br>I also have Plantar-femoral support. I bought these socks because the length from toe to heel is longer (if not the longest). br>br>This is what sets this brand apart from others. If you look closely at the images of various brands, you'll notice that they're all longer. br>br>In addition, you get two (2) for the same price or higher than most other brands. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> It should be long enough to support a broken toe by shifting it down a little. That was exactly what I was looking for. In the morning, the discomfort was even worse. br>br>Wham! br>br>Wham! br>br>Wham! My right foot had been taken over by Plantar Fasciitis, and I could only wear one pair of shoes. The only issue is that those shoes aren't suitable for all occasions. Then I remembered my son's old Crocs and decided to try them on. Although the pain had subsided, it had not completely vanished. br>br>I was advised to get a night splint by a friend. I saw these in my search and thought they might be worth a try before going for a night splint because I couldn't imagine sleeping in them for more than a couple of hours. They are the best dollars I've ever spent on my feet! My foot stopped hurting as soon as I put it on. It took some time to adjust, but the pain was no longer present. After that, I only wore it for a few hours after work, and the pain gradually faded away. After two weeks, when I wear it at night, I am pain-free all day. br>br>The instructions said to air dry them, but my husband put them in the dryer by accident. They are still in excellent condition. I'm just relieved to be able to walk again in my cute shoes!.
THE SIZING GUIDELINES ARE EXACT. A LARGE FITS MOST FOR MEN AND A MEDIUM FITS MOST FOR LADIES. THESE ARE PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WITH NEUROPATHY, AS THE SOCKS LEAVE THE TOES FREE, ELIMINATING IRRITATION IN NUMB TINGLY TOES! THEY ARE TIGHT ENOUGH TO RELIEVE YOU OF HEEL AND ARCH PAIN, BUT NOT TOO TIGHT TO FORM A CONSTRUCTION LINE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE EDEMA, THAT IS. IF THAT IS THE CASE, I WOULD CHOOSE A FULL LENGTH SOCK OR STOCKING AS YOU DO NOT WANT AN EDGE CONSTRICTING OVER AN AREA OF EDEMA AS THIS COULD MAKE IT EVEN WORSE. IF, ON THE OTHER HAND, YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT PROBLEM, THESE SOCKS ARE FOR YOU. WEAR WHILE SLEEPING AT NIGHT TO ENSURE THAT YOU SLEEP! THROBBING HAS COME TO AN END FOR ME IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. I DON'T HAVE TO WAKE UP TERRIFIED OF MY FEET TOUCHING THE FLOOR ANYMORE! THESE ARE BY FAR THE BEST COMPRESSION SOCKS I'VE EVER USED! YOU SHOULD TRY THEM OUT AS WELL. I AM A NURSE, SO TRUST ME. Working in the workforce and running my own business requires me to be on my feet for extended periods of time. Because of how much walking I did in a day, my feet used to be in a lot of pain. I used to walk for at least eight to ten hours a day between different locations, and it always caused pain in the bottom of my feet. My feet hurt so much that I couldn't walk to work or take care of my daily tasks on some days, so I set out to find a solution. I tried a variety of foot massage therapies, creams and ointments, and exercises, but none of them seemed to work. That's when I suggested Dow Life Plantar Fasciitis Socks, and I was willing to try anything at the time. I thought it was incredible that all I had to do was slip these socks on my feet, which felt fantastic due to their snug fit. The best part is that even if I'm walking around for ten hours or more, I don't get foot pain and my feet feel great all day. I can wear them with my slippers or with regular socks and boots on, making it a very effective and convenient way to take care of my feet. I don't know what I would do without these socks; they literally saved my feet from hours and hours of pain each day.
Because my right foot is the source of the majority of my pain and discomfort, I only wear one on that foot. However, because they seem to work so well so far, I'm going to start wearing both of them. The compression is soothing and helps to alleviate some of my discomfort. Because I work as an RN in a hospital, I'm on my feet for more than 12 hours a day, so these have been extremely beneficial to me. I've tried other types and brands before, but they never lasted more than a week or two. Only time will tell if these are still holding up. The sizing is the ONLY issue I have with the product. I usually wear a size 9 in men's shoes. I bought these in a size Medium based on the chart, and while they do fit my foot, they are a little difficult to put on and take a long time to do so. Apart from that, these are fantastic!.
