Our body count well exceeded the number of bodies that were supposed to be present within this thing, but it still A great time was had by all! Despite the fact that we had adults in it, no problems arose. Looking forward to seeing how it stands up in the future.

The assembly of this trampoline is a bit of a hassle
4/5

There was only one major flaw (which is why I deducted a star) from this otherwise great trampoline.

The first thing you do during assembly is attach the net to the jumping surface by sliding the tabs through 20-inch channels. Each hole is 30 yards long. There's nothing else you need to do after this, including the springs, etc. It's really, really important that you get this step right, or else you'll have to undo your work from scratch. I must stress that this is very Here's the deal. As far as I was concerned, I did it the right way. A mistake was made at this point in the building of my trampoline, and I found out about it after it was almost complete. It is true. Did I do that? I shipped the net "inside out". That was the mistake. The thought occurs to me, but it is not obvious at all. It would have seem to have been totally obvious in retrospect. As an example, you might think of the inside of an inside out sock without any obvious visual or tactile differences between the inside and the outside. How would you In order to put the net together, I spread it out, lined up the slots, and started mounting it. There is no way to know what you're really looking at at that point. Nets are jumbled together in one big mess. Are any instructions included such as that you must make sure that the net is laying right side out, that the safety label should be facing out, etc. ? Nope. The instructions didn't have a single word. I went over them later to make sure that I didn't miss anything. There is nothing. In this way, they equipped me with a product that was designed to fail, and gave me no warning as to what to watch out for. I am hurt. Did I disassemble the whole thing literally to step 1 and start over? My estimation is that I would spend around 90 minutes with my friend). There was no way I was going to spend more than twice as much time. When I realized it was backwards I spotted that the net was attached to the poles directly on the wrong side. No surprise there! As a result, I had to flip them around and install them in a weird way This is obvious. It then occurred to me that the safety label was, as it should be, facing inward, and the safety snap clips over the zipper door were on the inside, which meant jumpers would easily run into them. I hate it. I cut the safety straps off the net, and there is no need to worry about the twisted attachment of the net to the poles (just awkward, not flawed) and cannot be noticed. Once the safety straps are taken off, the only way you can tell that I made a mistake is by the labels on the inside. But my kids don't care about labels. So, there you have it. Having a trampoline that kids will love is a great idea. Assembling this kit was actually pretty easy, except for this one tiny huge snag. You should beware. If you are starting from a net, be sure it is correctly oriented.

The materials don't hold up to the elements
3/5

A large portion of the foam covering the vertical pipes holding up the net had completely A small piece of pipe insulation from a local home improvement store worked well for replacing that. There is however a problem with the net stretching a lot and getting loose fast. Moreover, the ends of the pipes holding the net are very brittle and easily broken. It doesn't like the weather, and worst of all, the protective pad around the edge doesn't like it either. The material looks ugly even with just a few months of sun exposure, and finally starts falling apart (a kid simply stepped It is possible to get a replacement, but it costs half as much as the entire trampoline. I had to While they claim to be weather and UV protected, I do not find that to be the cause of the failure, and the replacement parts are way too expensive.

Trampolines are great, but accessories are of poor quality
3/5

Just now we write a review for this trampoline that we purchased exactly 2 years ago! I wanted to let you know how well it has stood up to the test of time, sun damage, and children who jump on it every It is used frequently by our children. It is recommended to have four or more The position requires five days of work per Surprisingly, after all these years, the springs, netting, and bouncy part of the machine have held up quite well. A good example of this is the pole padding, zipper on the net and the spring cover have not been updated. It took just a year for those three things to go away. There was no damage done by the children. It was sun-damaged. Thus, you need to keep that in mind when deciding where to set it up. Our home is in the desert of California, where it is always warm. As a result, that is a crucial Apart from that, it has held up well over the last couple of The spring cover would have been nice if it lasted a bit longer since once the plastic started to deteriorate it made a huge mess in our yard with all the flakes coming off. The springs were exposed so the kids are now at risk for their little fingers since I had to remove the entire unit. It would be nice if they provided a solution to this. Other than that, the padding around the poles and a broken zipper can be tolerated.

I was very happy to receive this trampoline for my granddaughter when it first arrived
3/5

In all fairness, my son in law found out half way through the construction of the trampoline+ that he was missing a box of springs (which is totally necessary for safety) and a It was not clear to either the agent or her supervisor what my options were when I called Amazon Customer Service. In my opinion, the only part necessary to make a basketball setup is the set of springs. It was obvious that their only option for helping me was to dump another 75 lb boxed trampoline on my lawn. A solution to how to ship 5 lb of replacement parts was not possible for them. As a result, I also had to pack up 65 pounds of boxes and haul them to UPS myself. In a previous career, I served as HR Director of a global Customer Care Technical organization so I am familiar with the concept of providing excellent customer support. It would have been helpful if the Customer Service agents had the authority to decide themselves not to dump another whole trampoline on a 66 year old.
