The first thing I want to say is that I don't mind the color of the safety pad, but this pad definitely isn't blue. This item is purple in color. I am not bothered by the difference in color because the pad arrived without a problem. This doesn't seem to be a problem, since it fits like it said it would. There was also an additional item that I bought along with this safety pad, which is the stepping stairs that you can see in one of the pictures.
The pad of our Skywalker 12' trampoline is a nicer than the pad that came with the trampoline. The top surface is vinyl, the bottom is plastic, and there is about one inch of elastic around the edges. The foam is 5 inches thick. A portion of the spring ties had been sewn improperly (no big deal). One of the biggest problems with this pad is that the safety net support bars cannot be accommodated in staggered cut-outs in the skirt. The skirt will be cut properly so that I can return the pad rather than return the pad.
