They're not exactly light, and they're a little on the heavy side. Because of the weight, my arm aches after a while. The smooth, squishy rubber material on the paddle isn't my favorite, but it's built to last. This is the first time I've seen this kind of material on a paddle. With this kind of smooth material, I can't spin the ball. On the paddle, I like bumps in my material. The paddles are nice for the price, but not my style of paddle, so I would not buy them again.
