This was purchased to anchor a 14ft diameter trampoline because the winds in Oklahoma can be fierce, and I wanted to make sure it didn't end up in the neighbors yard. We had 50 mph gusts two days after I installed them, and it didn't even wiggle. If you're going to buy a trampoline, spend the extra $25 to make sure it stays put.
Use a rubber hammer to pound the nails into the wood. I only needed two to keep my small trampoline in place, but I ended up using the rest to keep a swing set in place. br>Insert it into the ground with a rubber hammer. When you use a metal hammer, the coating is knocked off, exposing the metal, which causes rust.
These aren't the tent stakes your grandparents used. These things are built to last! We got them after our trampoline flew up and over our house, across the street, and into the back windshield of our neighbor's car during a recent windstorm. That trampoline isn't going anywhere now that these bad boys are on it!.
Just in time for the storm to hit our area, I was able to get these done. Thankfully, because the trampoline would not have survived if it had not been for the trampoline. It was a disaster to be without power for four days, and the cleanup was a shambles.
I've had it for a few months and it hasn't moved even when there have been strong winds.
Very good quality. While our neighbor's trampoline blew over the fence, we were able to keep our trampoline safely in place. I would strongly suggest it.
During a recent tropical storm in Florida, we were stranded and had no way of getting out. I strongly suggest it.
