You'll need space to swing the cord with the ring, as well as a height difference between the cord anchor (which must be higher than the hook) and the hook on a vertical wall, whether you're playing indoors or out. In order for the game to work, these two items must be measured to a high degree of accuracy. Attaching the two points is the same whether you're inside or outside, and if you're creative, you might not even need to drill holes in your walls. br>Wishing you the best of luck!
If you want to use the adhesive, it's like double-sided tape and you can screw it into any surface. I'm sure you can find accessories to do that, but it doesn't come with what you're asking for. It's a simple yet addictive game that's a lot of fun:
Although the distance can be adjusted, this game is best played at a distance of 10 to 20 feet.
We keep ours in a screened-in area because we live in Florida, which has a lot of hot, humid weather, and we haven't had any problems. I could see how the wood and ring would become moldy or rusted over time if it was outside and was rained on.

Are you a supporter of this?.
Doesn't hold up well in harsh weather. We have a lot of fun with the game, and it's a big hit. We do, however, live in South Florida, where the heat and sun are extreme. Before posting it outside, I decided to apply a clear coat, but it began to mold and become discolored after only a month. The string began to stretch, fray, and snap. The ring began to rust, so I looked for a ring/string replacement kit for this product, which cost $16! It shouldn't have rusted so quickly to begin with, in our opinion. Sooooo . I went to Home Depot to replace the components on my own. Nonetheless, this is a fantastic game. Making your own tiki toss game is less expensive and lasts longer.
I had the good fortune to go on a cross-country road trip one summer. Our journey took us through the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which is known for its laid-back dunes and gentle breezes. We were treated to a home cooked meal of fried green tomatoes and fresh, fried crab while staying with some friends of friends in Kill Devil Hills. The friend told me to grab a beer and come outside to check out 'ring toss' while the deep fryer was heating up beneath the lovely stilted house. That was the turning point in my life. br>br>I was introduced to the single best 'game' that mankind has devised with a light breeze at my back, a beer in hand, and a sizzling crab in the fryer. It was perplexing how simple it was. On a string, a ring – on a tree, a hook. It is possible to connect the two with precision and patience. It took a lot of tries on that hot summer night, but the key to success is to enjoy the journey and learn from each toss. br>br>It's been a few years since that night on the Outer Banks, but a chance encounter with another ring toss set in San Francisco reminded me of how much I miss having my own ring toss set. I quickly scanned Amazon to see if a laid-back beach game could be sold there. Indeed! Tiki Toss was one of the first games I ever played. I quickly added Tiki Toss to my cart, taking advantage of their 'Prime' status. My plan: to set up the game in my office so that my coworkers can enjoy the island-themed experience that ring toss provides. br>br>I received the package a few days later and quickly and painlessly installed the set. My coworkers' interest grew gradually, and before I knew it, Tiki Toss had evolved into a lively focal point for conversation, friendly competition, and a brief respite from the drudgery of work in exchange for the zen island-vibes that Tiki Toss brings to life; we now have our own unique scoring system, monthly Tiki Toss tournaments, and our office set has even been written up in Wired. com magazine article about our office. br>br>Do yourself a favor and try Tiki Toss – at home, at work, or anywhere else you'd like to bring a little zen and fun into your life. Thank you to the creators for creating such a fantastic product at such a low cost!.
I finally purchased this game from Amazon and installed it tonight. Easy to set up and install outside under our covered patio; fingers crossed it doesn't mildew or rust like others have; we'll keep you updated if it doesn't hold up.
The Tiki Toss game is one of our favorites! The board is well-made, and the game is a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. We purchased one for our home garage and later purchased a second Tiki Toss game for our lake garage. br>br>Based on our experience, a high ceiling mount for the ring causes the ring pendulum to swing farther (geometry!). ) to add a little more difficulty to the game. Because we set up our boards indoors, we can't comment on their durability outside. br>br>All of our friends enjoy playing games. It will be enjoyable and engaging for even the most casual visitor. I would strongly suggest it.
On Amazon, there are several options, so pick the best one! The finish is wearing off in the Colorado sun at 9000 feet, but the cord and other components are holding up well. I have it outside in the summer and the finish is wearing off in the Colorado sun, but the cord and other components are holding up well. It's so much fun that I bought another for my cabin. Good for both children and adults; however, some of the children who have played have become easily discouraged because they have become accustomed to instant gratification. To master it, you'll need some skill and strategy.
My son-in-law-in-law-in-law-in-law in Law played a game with his 8-year-old son, and it was a close call! (His son came out victorious! It resulted in a lot of laughter and fun! However, I did have to glue the hook in because it tended to turn when struck, but this was minor. It comes highly recommended from us!.
I'd never heard of it until I saw it in a surf shop, and it's a lot of fun. I like how the surfboard backboard is ready to use by the whole family. I've got it set up under a gazebo, with a couple of different distance hang points for varying levels of difficulty. I imagine it would work well in a basement or anywhere else where there is a ceiling to hang the string. You pay for the best, so the name brand has a great hook and ring with string pass through.
