Could you play this game if your ceilings are 9 feet high? If my string is much longer than the hook at the standard height, can it still reach it?

In order to make the string longer, you will need to use a second string. Fortunately, this is an easy process and very rewarding. It was a lot of fun.

In the instruction manual, I believe they talk about it. I keep it protected by oiling it lightly with teak oil. Don't forget to register it and you will receive a free tiki beer koozie.

How can I tell a short board edition from a regular edition?

Bamboo backboards smaller than those found in the Surf Edition make up the shortboard. There are 14 pages in the Surf Edition. A Shortboard Edition is 5" long and a Longboard Edition is 5.5". As far as the rest of the components are concerned, they remain Basically, it's a smaller backboard that can be hung on your wall if you don't have a big space or if you want to keep your wall looking low profile. I expected to have to treat the wood and metal every few months, but every week? I expected to have to do that every few months? Because I'll probably have to replace this by next summer, I'll definitely look for one that is not only durable, but also resistant to.

Great product for the money. Yes, it's a hook, string and ring, but it's worth getting a quality product. Instructions on the box are very clear and the product comes with everything you need.

Despite the mini size of the board and hook and ring, I was surprised to find that it was the smallest toss game on the market

I waited until it arrived on the day I intended to give it as a gift. I love it. I got it for my very petite brother in law as a gift. So, if I gave it to him, there would be nothing wrong with it I felt awkward, had a feeling of awkwardness A. & B. It kind of feels like an ass to give him a baby wooden puzzle to play with. He doesn't really play the full-sized one at my house and I feel like I am being sexist. Even so, I did it I think he liked it, that's for sure As long as there's a hook, all is well. I guess you could say it is a ring on a string. It may be easier to just go to the hardware store and buy next time. The hook is attached to the ring, and the string is attached to the chain.

Felt the pain before even attempting to mount! A great deal of excitement surrounded this event As a professional reviewer, I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, it's obvious that the product is not produced correctly (at least the one I received)

Quality control is essential for any project. We noticed the joined wood would split as we looked at the product/assembly, the center piece popped out, and when we tried to push it back in, the wood started to split at the seams (see image). Playing and mounting this product were never an option, so I am giving the company a second chance to send me a product that is properly engineered (aka a replacement). We can revise the review as soon as we can mount and play the game properly, but until then, it will remain the way it is The ring toss product is not so good, I recommend you look at other manufacturers so that you don't experience the same situation I did. In regards to those who gave 4+ stars, I wish I had your experiences (and I hope I will have a better one once the new one is on its way). I recommend that anyone who is looking to buy, fill out the warranty card (and then pray they don't have to send you a replacement by snail mail). I was disappointed with the price for the quality.

The wooden surfboard is tiny! We bought it in a hurry and didn't check the size of the board before buying, so this isn't a standard size

Suitable for any age with or without a drink in hand, and a fun alternative to taking over the conversation during any family occasion. A drop of glue in the hole before inserting the hook is recommended for this game. There is no need for glue to get the hook out.

I consider it to be a drunken classic

There's a challenge to this game and you will need to be able to stay glued to your computer for long periods of time. It is such an honor to actually hook one up, that we figured people deserved recognition for achieving that. So, we put up a leader board on the lanai where it is installed. It is common to find variations of this game in every beach town, typically at breweries and other bars. This is one of our favorite outdoor games, and we're glad it's a part of our lanai activities. There is no hesitation when it comes to trying it out.
