Selected User Reviews For Weather Resistant Cornhole Bags (Set of 8) by SC Cornhole:: Choose Your Colors
SC Cornhole bags were given to me even though I already owned Barcaloo bags.
Not a single bag went into the hole when I threw all eight bags! What the heck is going on? But aside from the accuracy issue, the bags are very good. Their performance feels solid after probably a thousand games, and they only get My original purchase was another brand for less money (and that'll teach me not to be so The third inning saw one bag burst. Midway through the second game, there was a second burst. Those were the ones I purchased the following The truth is that everyone describes to us how they just "feel right" and even how they believe their games have In light of the increasing number of people playing in my crowd, I just built a second set of boards and ordered another set of t-shirts. I just wish they came with a drawstring tote bag for carrying them.
Despite the relatively few 1 star ratings this company had, I was skeptical when researching these bags. Most companies have quite a bit of 1 star feedback. To find the common issues among reviews with 1 and 2 stars, I read through the 1 and 2 star reviews. The stitching on the bag comes loose, and the weight of the bag is inconsistent. I paid full price since all the other reviewers had more negative feedback for the same thing. I got them in last night and I must say that the stitching could be annoying on the corners on one side where the stitching is exposed because the material is folded and thicker there. Rather than wait till our big athletic tournament to put these to use, I may choose to stitch some extra stitches on the corners just to be sure they don't come undone. In terms of the individual weight variance, I determined that each had a weight variance of exactly 15 ounces with my digital kitchen scale. On all but one, the weight was 8 oz, and on that one, the weight was 15 lb. There are nine ounces in each can. That is the perfect uniform, I can't imagine getting any better. It looks to me as if the fabric will hold up fine, as well as a recent counterfeiting claim, however the box had SC Cornhole on it and they recessed a small tag with their website address into the stitching of each bag. A package of mice snacks would eventually be available).
Now that it's been six months since the bags were tight, they have loosened up a bit but They seem to be flimsy since there doesn't seem to be much fill in them, so they will hang over the sides a lot of the time. A picture of the issue is attached. It's not my first time having this problem. I've played at my brother's, among other places, where the bags seem packed full of stuff. A second set of bags would be a great purchase for me. The more I look at them, the more I dislike them.
The bags I purchased were for boards ordered by a customer and the company I normally purchase all my bags from couldn't get me a weather-proof set in the time frame I required. I have purchased over 200 sets from my normal supplier and these bags are not in the same league. I can tell just by looking at them and handling them that they will not withstand As far as I can tell, the stitching on the bags is not of high quality, and one of the sides of the seams is not folded over, plus the tag sewn on the bags states it was made in Thailand for another company other than My supplier will be sending a new set to my customer as soon as possible so they'll have a quality set to replace these failed ones.
These are very disappointed, I ordered them because of all the great reviews - the look good upon arrival but they are very poorly constructed. In the bags, they didn't even double stitch the visible stitches. A seam completely splits open once you play with them for 5 minutes. I was camping with my family and had a sewing kit with me and was able to mend the rips. As you can see in the picture, I added black stitches because the orange stitching came out about 2 inches and would have continued to split open if it had not been repaired. These are much better built than the set I purchased in Thailand. For the price they should be much better constructed.
