Since I am a beginner in disc golf, I have used Innova, Westside, and this Crown Me disc set. The discs feel similar and begin fine, but they become significantly softer as they go on. The tree that hit the driver first instantly took a chunk out of him. Even when I hit countless trees with the Innova discs, they do not show any scratches. Later in the game, the disc hit asphalt and you couldn't throw it without your hands getting cut by the inside rim since the inside rim of the disc was 18 holes are fewer than this. The discs on both the Westside and Innova have been hit with the exact same pavement (even harder) and neither of them have torn. They'll be the designated guest set if I have the packaging. I'd return them if I still had the packaging.
Since I am still a beginner (I love throwing into water hazards for some reason) and I needed a new driver, I decided to try the one you recommended. This product is a steal for the price and the quality is top notch. My discs are being lost rapidly so I am likely to purchase again.
These did not fly consistently, and the Mid Range and Putter had inaccurate names. It was worth it to spend the few dollars more on beginner discs by Innova and Dyanimc. Our evaluation team also bought a set of Franklin discs that performed much better and more consistently than this set. the boat I have lost the driver (the boat veered hard right and disappeared far into the woods that we could not even see its landing place). In spite of the fact that I am no professional, my throws are consistent no matter which brand I use. That is on the thrower, not the discs, so it is not great, but it is comparable. It feels like they can go wherever they want, so I wouldn't recommend these.
The discs I received seem to have been labelled incorrectly. A total of three different "clubs" were marked wrong for the club it should have been. All I did was use a Sharpie to fix it.
In order to make the review easier to read, I gave this one star. As this was my first set, I was a little nervous. In the last few months, I have learned what a good disc is as well as what a Frisbee is. The discs are heavy and can be lost easily, so these aren't recommended unless you don't mind losing them. As a result, I gave them to my GF daughter and bought three good discs with the proceeds. For good quality discs, you should expect to pay $10 to $20. Using friends' discs first then buying is the best idea. In time, you will be able to use a different disc based on the wind, distance, and course.
Right off the bat, I would recommend these to beginners because they are heavy and thick as well as strong. In addition, this is another reason why I would not recommend them for a beginner. They are heavy, but they fly great, and they are fairly level. Also, I'll admit that the towel is pretty soft and I have it in my gym bag now. In most cases, I would purchase these over buzzbees, but not over wraiths. The price is more than fair for what you get and the coaster is great. I'll be a returning customer and have purchased more since. This package is great quality it's lightweight and bright it makes it easy to locate I wish they'd printed the stats on them, but that's a small complaint.
It is excellent quality for the price.
Because we are new to disc golf, I chose a disc that was in the medium price range. So far I have played 3 times. The pros include This is 2 sets, each in a different color. The cons are There are actually two discs that are described as the same type but are actually of However, all in all, this is a nice set for beginners with a lot of fun to be had.
